Pokemon Legends: Arceus is set in the old times in the Pokemon world at a time when it was rare to find harmony between people and Pokemon. Set in the land of the Hisui region, modern-day Sinnoh, you will join the Galaxy Expedition Team (Galaxy Team for short) as a member of the Survey Corps stationed in Jubilife Village. You will be tasked to meet every species of Pokémon from the Hisui region to complete the region’s first-ever Pokédex.
The Galaxy Team will task the player to do missions in the game. Additionally, various people will also ask for help from the player requests. One of these requests is Request 27, titled ‘Help Wanted: Plowing the Fields.’ This guide will teach you how to complete the ‘Help Wanted: Plowing the Fields’ request.
Help Wanted: Plowing the Fields
To unlock this request, the player must first receive the “Arezu’s Predicament” mission (the eighth mission in the game), where the player must quell the Lady of the Ridge Liligant’s frenzy.
After that, head to the farm on the west side of Jubilife Village, and there you will see a man holding a farming hoe dressed in brown named Miller. Talk to him, and he will tell the player he has been trying to make the fields bigger, but the ground is hard to plow. Because of this, he will ask the player to lend him a Ground-type Pokemon. And, just like that, the request was started!
Preferably a Ground-type Pokemon you are not using in your party. All you have to do is let Miller borrow one of your Ground-type Pokemon to complete this request. If you do not have one for some reason, there are many Ground-type Pokemon in Hisui Region, but the easiest to get to and catch would-be Geodude in the Obsidian Fieldlands. Some areas where you can find some Geodude are in Worn Bridge and Oreburrow Tunnel, but the easiest would be in Deertrack Heights, which is around the Heights Camp in the Obsidian Fieldlands.
Once you have a Ground-type Pokemon to lend out, go back to Jubilife Village, head to the farm again on the west side of the village, and talk to Miller. On the prompt, choose the Pokemon you want to lend him. After that, he will tell the player the Pokemon you lent will be a big help in expanding the fields, and he will be amazed at how the Pokemon is turning the gritty soil ‘soft and fluffy.’ Then, the job will be finished, and the player can now use more fields for farming!
If you decide in the future you want to use the Ground-type Pokemon you lent Miller, you can swap that Pokemon out with another Ground-type Pokemon. To do that, interact with the Pokemon, and on the prompt, select the Ground-type Pokemon you want to swap it out with. Even after the request, Miller will still keep your Pokemon to help them out in the fieldwork.
Now that you have completed this request, you can now try to complete other requests, complete missions, or complete Arceus’ task for you, which is to catch ‘em all!
