Crystal Dynamics may have stumbled when it came to the release of their Avengers game, but Firaxis is going to try and deliver a different kind of title featuring the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Midnight Suns is set to release this October, and we have a new look at another incoming hero.

Marvel's Midnight Suns Drops Deep Dive for Doctor Strange

Take a deep dive into the Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Strange, in Midnight Suns:

They don’t call him the Sorcerer Supreme for anything. Doctor Strange unleashes otherworldly magic and ancient artifacts to protect the world from Lilith and her forces.

Go in-depth into his abilities, playstyle, and tactics with our gameplay showcase, featuring 2K NextMaker and strategy gamer extraordinaire Christopher Odd.

While Strange’s skillset is pretty diverse regarding the source material, Midnight Suns have classified Strange as a support hero, allowing him to give special buffs to his teammates to deal more damage to enemies.

Besides Strange’s support abilities on the battlefield, he can also give more Heroism points to the main character Hunter. Since Hunter is supposed to be the player inserted in the game, it would make sense that players can adjust their abilities based on their preferred playstyle.

Though it is not a AAA game that you can expect from a franchise as bombastic as Avengers, you have to hand it to Firaxis for being able to add a bit more variety when it comes to the Marvel library of games.

Midnight Suns launches on Oct. 7 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4|5, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
