It may be a while before we get to play Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, but we may as well get the next best thing which is WB Montreal’s Gotham Knights. The game is set to launch this October, and thanks to IGN, we have a look at some Batgirl, Nightwing, Robin, and Red Hood costumes.
Check this out:
While the game does not allow players to mix and match suit elements, each pre-designed costume has a variety of gear you can change—specifically the cowl, the chest emblem, and the gauntlets on the arms and legs.
Each character has a costume based on a specific theme, some of which have been named Shinobi, Beyond, Neon Noir, Night Ops, Year One, and KnightWatch (which seems to be the closest you can get to the classic looks from the comics).
While I am sure some fans would want more freedom with the look of their characters, I think it is neat that we can have options that are all consistent with one design. I am not too much a fan of the intricately designed military outfits, and I am leaning toward the more minimal Neon Noir outfits—then again, that’s just my preference.
Batman is dead. A new expansive, criminal underworld has swept the streets of Gotham City. It is now up to the Batman Family – Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin – to protect Gotham, bring hope to its citizens, discipline its cops, and fear its criminals.
From solving mysteries that connect the darkest chapters in the city’s history to defeating notorious villains in epic confrontations.
Gotham Knights is an open-world, action RPG set in the most dynamic and interactive Gotham City yet. Patrol Gotham’s five distinct boroughs in solo or co-op and drop in on criminal activity wherever you find it.
Your legacy begins now. Step into the Knight.
Catch Gotham Knights when it launches for Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PS5 this Oct. 25.
