Pokemon Legends: Arceus is set in olden times in the Pokemon world when it was rare to find harmony between people and Pokemon. Set in the Hisui region, modern-day Sinnoh, you will join the Galaxy Expedition Team (Galaxy Team for short) as a member of the Survey Corps stationed in Jubilife Village. You will be tasked to meet every Hisui Region Pokemon species to complete the region’s first-ever Pokédex.

How to Evolve Togetic into Togekiss in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

In the game, there are certain Pokemon that the player cannot catch or are hard to catch in the wild. One of the methods to acquire these Pokemon is through evolution. One of these Pokemon is Togekiss, and in this guide, you will learn how to evolve Togetic into a Togekiss!

Togetic into Togekiss

Togekiss is a Fairy and Flying-type Jubilee Pokemon that has a body that looks like a white egg, broad and triangular wings, red and blue triangular marking on its underside, a short tail with three feathers, and three spikes on its head that are colored red, blue, and white.

According to its Pokedex entry in the game, very few Togekiss have been sighted. After studying the remaining literature about it, it is said that Togekiss will reveal itself once peace reigns in the land.

Togekiss can be found flying high above the entrance of Lake Verity in the Obsidian Fieldlands. Togekiss can be found in these locations at all times of the day and in every weather condition. Additionally, Togekiss can be found in Massive Mass Outbreaks in the Cobalt Coastlands.

However, if you would rather obtain a Togekiss through evolution, the player can catch one by evolving a Togetic using a Shiny Stone. To do that, the player must first know where to find a Togetic.

Togetic

The player may find a Togetic in the Crimson Mirelands (in Bolderoll Slope and Cottonsedge Prairie) and in the Cobalt Coastlands (in the northeastern part of Tranquility Cove). Togetic can be found in these locations in every weather condition. However, it can only be found in these locations during the day. Aside from that, Togetic may also be found in Massive Mass Outbreaks in the Cobalt Coastlands.

If you plan on distracting it with food before catching it, it is worth mentioning that Togetic’s preferred foods are Dazzling Honey, Hearty Grains, and Plump Beans.

If you plan on battling a Togetic first before catching it, it is worth noting that, as mentioned, Togetic is a Fairy and Flying-type Pokemon, which means it has a weakness to Electric-type, Ice-type, Poison-type, Rock-type, and Steel-type moves (super effective), a resistance to Dark-type, Grass-type, and especially Bug-type and Fighting-type moves (not very effective), and immunity to Dragon-type and Ground-type moves (no effect)

Shiny Stone

Now that the player has caught a Togetic, all that is needed to evolve a Togetic to Togekiss is a Shiny Stone. There are several ways that the player can obtain a Shiny Stone:

The player may also obtain a Shiny Stone by breaking Tumblestone Ores that are shaking. Breaking these shaking ores, however, will result in a Pokemon like Geodude or Graveler popping out and battling the player.

Other than that, the player may find some Shiny Stones on the ground inside of Space-Time Distortions, so check out the items inside them.

Alternatively, the player can purchase a Shiny Stone for 5,000 Pokemon Dollars from Ginter at the Gingko Guild Shop between the Galaxy Hall and the player’s headquarters. However, Ginter will call it a Dazzling Rock. Unfortunately, the items that the Gingko Guild Merchants sell are not the same, so that the purchasable item may vary. To change the items that Ginter is selling, the player must first catch 20 Pokemon.

The player can also purchase a Shiny Stone from the Trading Post near the Training Grounds for only 1200 Merit Points. The player can earn Merit Points by returning lost satchels all over the Hisui region.

Finally, Togekiss!

After catching a Togetic and obtaining a Shiny Stone, the player can now evolve a Togetic into a Togekiss!

To do that, this is what the player must do:

  1. Put the player’s Togetic in the Player’s party by talking to the Galaxy Member near the tent on any of the Base Camps, selecting “I want to see my Pokemon” on the prompt, or heading to the Pastures in the eastern part of Jubilife Village.
  2. Then, ensure that the Shiny Stone is in the player’s Satchel. If not, the player can access the Item Storage in any of the Base Camps or the Item Storage near the Front Gate in the northeastern part of Jubilife City and move the Shiny Stone to the player’s Satchel.
  3. Afterward, to the game and press the up directional button to open the player’s Satchel.
  4. Select the Shiny Stone, select “Use” on the prompt, then select Togetic from the player’s party, too; well, use the Shiny Stone on Togetic.
  5. Confirm on the prompt to evolve Togetic. Then, just like that, Togetic will evolve into a Togekiss!

Now that the player has a Togekiss, the player can try to use the Togekiss to complete other requests, missions, or Arceus’ task for the player to catch ‘em all!
