The PSVR2 launched in February, and the platform has been getting some good reviews since its launch. PlayStation has dropped a new video covering the tech behind the PSVR2 and how it runs one of its exclusive games, Horizon Call of the Mountain.

With the PlayStation 5 boasting haptic feedback and adaptive triggers for its DualSense controller, the PSVR2 controllers also have the same kind of feature, offering players a new level of immersion. What’s more, the haptics doesn’t just stop at the controller but on the headset; players get to feel stimuli from different points in the game.
Top that off with some top-notch visuals and 3D audio, and you have one heck of a next-level virtual reality experience.
Admittedly, there has been a lot of debate online regarding the status of VR and whether it really would be the next staple when it comes to gaming. While I think the traditional ‘games on a screen’ will stay for a while, I do feel that VR will become more dominant once they figure out how to make the headset without a wire.
