Learn everything you need to know about Kadabra in Pokemon Legends: Arceus!
Instead of participating in Pokemon Gym battles and later becoming a Champion in a particular region, the player in Pokemon Legends: Arceus will become an essential part of the Galaxy Expedition Team, popularly referred to as the Galaxy Team, to uncover more about the Pokemon found in the Hisui region. One of the game’s primary missions is to complete the Pokedex by capturing and learning about each Pokemon species in the region.
This guide will discuss everything you need to know about Kadabra!
Kadabra
Kadabra, the 59th Pokemon in the Hisuian Pokedex, is a Psychic type Psi Pokemon that has a yellow and brown body, a pair of narrow eyes with small black pupils, a pair of pointed ears on the top of its head, wide cheeks, a thin snout, two tufts of fur on each side of its snout that look like a long mustache, a red star marking in the middle of its forehead, bulky, brown, segmented chest and shoulders, three red, wavy lines on its abdomen, a pair of thin arms with brown elbows and three fingers with white claws on each hand, a spoon that is always held on one of its hands, a pair of prominent legs with two toes on the front and one toe on the back with white claws on each foot, and a thick, large tail that has a brown marking around near its base.
According to its Pokedex entry in the game, there is an unverified rumor that Kadabra was a child with mystical powers. Additionally, it also says that it is suspected that Kadabra’s spoon improves its brain waves.
Basic Information
Kadabra is a Psychic-type Pokemon, so it is weak (super effective) to the Bug-type, Dark-type, and Ghost-type moves and resistance to Fighting-type and Psychic-type moves (not very effective).
Kadabra’s base stats are 40 HP, 35 Attack, 30 Defense, 120 Special Attack, 70 Special Defense, and 105 Speed for 400.
Kadabra can be evolved from an Abra when it reaches Level 16. A Kadabra can be evolved into an Alakazam by trading or using a Linking Cord.
Springy Mushrooms, Dazzling Honey, Hearty Grains, and Plump Beans are all favorites of Kadabra, making them excellent distractions before catching it, battling it, or simply feeding it.
After defeating or taking down a Kadabra in the wild, the player will receive a Spoiled Apricorn and a Hopo Berry.
Location
The player will be able to find a Kadabra in the following areas in Pokemon Legends: Arceus:
In the Obsidian Fieldlands: around Sandgem Flats.
In the Alabaster Icelands: on the eastern shores of Lake Acuity.
Kadabra can be seen in the mentioned locations at all times of day and in all weather conditions.
Also, Kadabra may be found in Massive Mass Outbreaks in the Obsidian Fieldlands and the Alabaster Icelands and inside Space-Time Distortions.
Research Tasks
The following are the Research Tasks in Kadabra’s Pokedex entry:
Multiplier | Research Task | Objectives |
x2 | Number caught | 1/2/4/10/15 |
Number defeated | 1/2/3/5/7
x2 | Number you have defeated with Bug-type moves | 1/2/4/6/10 |
Times you have seen it use Calm Mind | 1/2/3/4/5
Times you have seen it use Psycho Cut | 1/3/6/12/25
Number of different forms you have obtained | 2
x2 | Number you have evolved | 1/2/3 |
When a Pokemon’s Pokedex entry reaches Research Level 10, it is considered complete. After one of a Research Task’s objectives is met, the Research Level of a Pokedex entry increases by one level. After a Research Task objective with a multiplier of x2 is completed, the Pokedex entry acquires two Research Levels rather than one.
To quickly complete Kadabra’s Pokedex entry, the player can defeat five Kadabras with at least four of them defeated using Bug-type moves. Doing these will tick the first, second, third, and fourth objective of the “Number defeated” Research Task to add four Research Levels, and tick the first, second, and third objective of the “Number you’ve defeated with Bug type moves” Research Task to gain the six Research Levels needed to attain Research Level 10.
