Among Us was probably one of the biggest games to come out of the pandemic, but Fireline Games has announced their new co-op-focused game Fueled Up if you are not up for betrayal.

Among Us Gets Friendlier in Announce for Fueled Up

Watch this:

Fueled Up is a chaotic couch co-op game for up to four players. You and your crewmates must fuel, fix and recover damaged spaceships before the evil Space Octopus gets its tentacles on them! Keep the engines fueled up, fix hull breaches, extinguish fires or risk the ship blowing up! Return the spaceships to safety while dealing with unexpected dangers like wormholes, asteroid showers, and space squids. There are no dull days in the life of a spaceship recovery engineer!

As I said, the game looks like an upgraded version of Among Us, but it removes the unique betrayal element of the game. Even if you can not accuse anyone of being sus, aesthetically, the game still has players stuck inside a ship (or laboratory), performing different kinds of tasks. The characters also do not have any arms—just like the Among Us mascots.

While Among Us is designed to instill mistrust in its players, Fueled Up is more of a sci-fi Overcooked which is all about being a team player. We do not know if it will be a hit, but I am sure we will find out once the title launches.

Fueled Up has no specific release date, but it is set to launch on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 sometime later this year.
