Heirlooms are some of the most sought-after cosmetic sets in Apex Legends. Typically, these cosmetic sets contain a Banner Pose, a Melee weapon skin, and an intro Quip that reflect a Legend’s personality and style.

A new Heirloom is released whenever a Collection Event comes around. With the Beast of Prey Collect Event that runs from September 20th to October 4th officially announced, Loba is also finally getting her Heirloom called the Garra de Alanza.

We have outlined everything you can expect from Loba’s Heirloom and how you can get it in-game in this guide.

Garra de Alanza Heirloom

Loba’s Garra de Alanza Heirloom will include the following:

  • A Banner pose (yet to be named)
  • A Melee weapon skin: Garra de Alanza
  • A Quip (yet to be named)

Loba’s Heirloom highlights the elegant fan knife that Loba modified to be more lethal. The very same fan was previously revealed to belong to Loba’s late mother, Alanza Andrade, in a Twitter comic where Loba and Jaime go on a mission to retrieve the fan.

The recent Apex Legends Twitter comic reveals that Loba made a replica of the same fan with some minor adjustments that she believes her enemies will love.

The result is Loba’s Heirloom Melee weapon skin – the Garra de Alanza.

Many Apex Legends fans will know that Loba harbors a deep hatred for Revenant, highlighted in Garra de Alanza’s featured animation where Loba scrapes one of Revenant’s skulls before slicing it clean.

This is just one of several Heirloom animations for the Garra de Alanza in Apex Legends. Players can expect to see more when the event goes live on September 20th.

How to get Loba’s Heirloom (Beast of Prey Event)

The fastest way to get the featured Heirloom for a Collection Event is by completing the Beast of Prey Collection. The featured Heirloom (in this case, Loba’s Heirloom) will then be given to players automatically after they have acquired all the featured items in the Collection Event.

For the Beast of Prey event, players who acquire all 24 items in the collection will receive Loba’s Heirloom for free.

Unfortunately, while this method is the quickest way of getting your hands on Loba’s Heirloom, it is also the most expensive as it requires purchasing all the event items with Crafting Materials or Apex Coins.

How to Get Loba’s Heirloom (Normal Method)

When the Beast of Prey Collection Event concludes after October 4th, Loba’s Heirloom will be moved to the in-game shop, where players can buy out the Heirloom with 150 Heirloom Shards.

Acquiring Loba’s Heirloom through Heirloom Shards will not be an easy task – there is only a 1% of getting Heirloom Shards from Apex Packs. Fortunately, the game guarantees an Heirloom Shard drop from Apex Packs for every 500 Apex Packs opened, but this will also require players to level up and grind through the ranks for this season.

You will not have to worry if you have an extra 150 Heirloom Shards lying around. Other players, however, will have to rank up to collect as many Heirloom Shards as possible to buy out Loba’s Heirloom from the shop.

Family Memento

Loba fans will jump for joy after their favorite Legend finally gets her Heirloom through the Beast of Prey Collection Event. All that is left is to purchase all the collection items or collect as many Heirloom Shards as possible to acquire Garra de Alanza Heirloom in-game.
