Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Deserted Chalet Chest Key Location

You will find a lot of locked up treasure along your journey in the Viking world of Valhalla. Sometimes to unlock these chests, you will have to battle powerful foes, or find the key which is hidden somewhere.

Well, there will be a deserted house on the mountains at Deserted Chalet. Here, you will find a chest which will contribute to your wealth and give you some XP also.

Interestingly, the key is pretty far from the lodge. You will have to take down a few wolves to get it. However, as you know wealth is very important, so in the end it’s worth it.

To get to it fast, follow the trail that leads northeast from the lodge. It will take you up and down until ultimately taking you into a hole of sorts.

At this locations there will be three wolves walking around. Behind them will be what it seems to be the remains of another viking, who has unfortunately passed away, possibly taken out by wolves.

Technically, you can get the key without fighting the wolves, by using a specific strategy I like to call loot’n’run. But it’s probably better to take them out, it saves you some time from running from them.

So, slay the wolves, and go to the viking’s remains and loot the viking. From that you will get a few silver coins, leather, and ultimately Ornir’s Key.

The next thing you need to do is go back to the lodge. Inside it, you will find a chest next to a window. Use Ornir’s key to unlock it.

From the chest you will get a Carbon Ingot and some experience, which will contribute to your wealth.
