Now, it’s important to start off by saying that you don’t always need to blow up the walls in Valhalla.
Some of the breakable walls or platforms can be destroyed only by using your attacks on it, i.e. light or heavy attacks. However, with that said, there are many locations and places which will have walls that must be destroyed with an explosion.
There are different ways to cause explosions, and we will cover some of them.
How to Blow-Up Walls in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
There are two main ways to do this. You can either use oil filled pots which are available through the Viking world, or you can use skills and/or abilities.
At some locations though, there might not be pots around to help you destroy the walls. This is when your abilities might come in handy.
You can use the Incendiary Trap ability, that will help you destroy the wall. This ability is an explosive arrow in other words. A small pouch is attached to your arrow that leaves a substance that if touched, might explode!
How to Use Burning Pots in Valhalla
Now, before we get to how you can use them, it’s important to distinguish them from the regular pots in the game. These ones have a small fire which can be seen coming out of it at the top.
As for how to use them, you can either set them up and then shoot them, or you can throw these burning pots at the wall or platform you are trying to explode, and they will destroy it upon impact.
Throwing these can be a bit weird and difficult, as the throws don’t really have a realistic projectile, but you can easily do so if you aim patiently.
How to Use Incendiary Trap Ability in Valhalla
If you don’t have this ability yet, you can get it at this location (use your vision to find it):
After you get it, equip the ability and then shoot at the wall. The pouch from the arrow will cover the wall with powder.
To activate, shoot another arrow roughly at the same location as the arrow you shot before. Boom!
Other way that this ability can activate is if there is movement where the powder is smeared, in other words if an enemy walks close, then it will also explode. Have fun blowing up stuff!
