There are tons of barred doors in Valhalla. It adds a layer of difficulty to the game, which means that you need to use your ingenuity to go through these doors.
Some require a key which is hidden in some place nearby, and others are barricaded from the other side. To open the latter, you need to break the lock from the inside.
How to Open Barred Door in Stavanger – Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Usually, these locations that have doors which are not easily opened, have more valuable loot or other similar rewards that might come in the form of interaction, collectibles, or wealth.
Also, what is frequent is the fact that many of these doors can be easily unlocked by shooting an arrow through a window. However, some are not as straightforward.
Unfortunately, the one in Stavanger is difficult to open, but we know how. If you want to get in this lodge, this is how to open the barred door in Stavanger – Assassin’s Creed Valhalla:
- This is the location for the locked lodge:
- If you interact with the door, it will prompt you that the door is barred from the other side. At this point, climb on to the roof of the house.
- There will be a part on the roofwhich is higher than the whole roof. Swing at the straws on it with your axe. This will break them which inevitabely open an entrence to go inside.
- So, technically you don’t need to break the barred door to get in, however you can do so from inside on your way out.
Hope this helps not just for this particular location, but for future reference for other barred doors in this vast Viking world.
You have to go into the mindset of trying out everything in Valhalla, because there are millions of possibilities and ways to do certain things. Even for the Stavanger house, there are probably more ways to break in the house!
