Star Wars games were kind of in the dark before EA released Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and with the game’s massive success, we now have a new teaser for Cal Kestis’ continuing adventures.

Picking up five years after the events of STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order™, Jedi: Survivor is a third person, narrative-driven action-adventure game from Respawn Entertainment, developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games.
Admittedly, we don’t have much when it comes to story, but the trailer does give us some hints, like the crashed Mantis, as well as a mysterious Sith figure who only has one arm. At first, I actually thought that the figure in the tank could be Merrin, but it’s possible that this is a completely new character from Cal’s past—or someone else entirely.
Personally, I thought Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order felt a little repetitive at times, but I’m hoping that we get something more substantial in the sequel. While the lightsaber combat is solid, I hope we get more variety when it comes to the gameplay. I wouldn’t mind being able to pilot the Mantis once in a while, or get to control Merrin during fights like Atreus in God of War.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor comes out sometime in 2023.
