Fans have been waiting for an update on the release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge and Dotemu have finally released a trailer that gives us a launch date. What is cool is it also comes with a new character reveal for Casey Jones.

Watch a brand new trailer showcasing the eagerly anticipated playable character Casey Jones, the Turtles’ spirited ally determined to clean up the streets of New York City. Casey’s balance of range, speed, and power makes him a formidable all-around threat as he swings through the flanks of Foot Clan soldiers with his signature hockey stick.
With Casey being such a fan-favorite side character in the TMNT lore, it is no surprise he would be making an appearance in Shredder’s Revenge. They made April a playable character, and despite her popularity, Casey seems like the more practical choice to fight alongside the Turtles before April.
Besides Casey, we also got a release date for the game. While I was expecting to wait even further into the year since the reveal took so long, it is great to know that this retro title will be coming out this week. Hopefully, Dotemu manages to live up to the hype, and we can expect some more TMNT games in the future. After all, Shredder’s not the only one who clashed with the Heroes in a Half-Shell.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is set to release for PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One on June 16.
