Hogwarts Legacy may have taken a hundred years back in the Harry Potter timeline, but Harry Potter: Magic Awakened looks to bring players into the original Potter era.
Pre-registrations are currently open for the game, and we have a new look at this unique take on Hogwarts. Check this out:
Though the game may not be as high-definition as Hogwarts Legacy, I commend Magic Awakened for embracing a completely original art style that evokes the same animation style from the Three Brothers sequence in The Deathly Hallows Part One.
The combat and story may not be as extensive, but I’m sure people will love the simplicity of the game and the customization allowed for characters. Plus, MA allows you to play Quidditch and have dance parties; not even Hogwarts Legacy could deliver that.
Here’s the official description for Harry Potter: Magic Awakened:
Your journey to master the magic starts here! You are invited to attend the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Browse the dazzling shops of Diagon Alley, solve mysteries as you roam the school halls, play Quidditch, dance at the Ball, explore the Forbidden Forest, and more in this new card collection and role-playing game! Duel in thrilling multiplayer, real-time matches.
No release date has been announced for Harry Potter: Magic Awakened, but it should launch for iOS and Android later this year.
