Pokemon Legends: Arceus is set in the old times in the Pokemon world when it was rare to find harmony between people and Pokemon. Set in the land of the Hisui region, known as the Sinnoh region in modern times, you’ll join the Galaxy Expedition Team (or just Galaxy Team for short) as a member of the Survey Corps stationed in Jubilife Village. You will be tasked to meet every species of Pokémon from the Hisui region to complete the region’s first-ever Pokédex.
The Galaxy Team will task the player to do missions in the game. Various people will also ask for help from the player in the form of requests. One of these requests is Request 58, titled “Gone Astray… in the Coastlands.” This guide will teach you how to complete the “Gone Astray… in the Coastlands” request.
Gone Astray… in the Coastlands
To unlock this request, the player must first unlock Basculegion as a rideable Pokemon, which is part of “The Lordless Island” Mission (the tenth mission in the game), where the player must quell a frenzied Hisuian Arcanine, and complete the “Gone Astray… in the Mirelands” Request (request 38) from Zeke in the Galaxy Hall in Jubilife Village.
After that, you can now start this request! To do that, head back to Jubilife Village, enter the Galaxy Hall, and just outside Captain Cyllene’s office on the left, the player will find a man in Agriculture Corps clothing named Zeke.
Talk to Zeke, and he will tell the player that his sister, Wanda, went to the Cobalt Coastlands but never returned. He will say that he asked Wanda’s colleagues in the Security Corps to look for her, but they have not found her, so he will ask the player to find his sister.
Zeke will give the player Wanda’s favorite handkerchief so that the player’s Ursaluna, a rideable Pokemon, will pick up her scent. Then, the “Gone Astray… in the Coastlands” request started just like that!
To complete this request, the player must head to the Cobalt Coastlands and find Zeke’s sister, Wanda, using the rideable Pokemon Ursaluna. When riding Ursaluna, follow the blue indicator until the player and Ursaluna find Wanda. This blue indicator will only appear once the player is close enough to Wanda. Well, now that you are reading this guide. It would be better to tell you where to find Wanda in the Cobalt Coastlands.
Wanda can be found on a little rock island south of where the player can find an Alpha Octillery in Castaway Shore, which is north of Tranquility Cove, south of Veilstone Cape, west of Lunker’s Lair, or east of Windbreak Stand.
Upon finding Wanda, talk to her, and she will be very happy that the player came to find her and explain that she was attacked by a wild Machop, which brought her to the sea. Then, she got stranded because she could not swim back to shore alone. After that, she will ask the player to help her return home. Confirm on the prompt, then Wanda will thank the player, compliment the player’s Basculegion, then walk back home.
After finding Wanda, head back to Zeke, still on the left side of Captain Cyllene’s office entrance in the Galaxy Hall in Jubilife Village, and talk to him. You will also see his sister, Wanda, beside him. Zeke will then tell the player that Wanda made it back safely and thank the player.
He will then say that he was glad he asked for the player’s help again, who is just as good as everyone says. He will also compliment the player’s Ursaluna for tracking Wanda’s scent. Finally, he will say that if he ever learned to live with Pokemon, he would like an Ursaluna, which is great at finding things. Zeke will then reward the player with one Star Piece for their efforts.
