Pokemon Legends: Arceus is set in olden times in the Pokemon world when it was rare to find harmony between people and Pokemon. Set in Hisui, modern-day Sinnoh, you will join the Galaxy Expedition Team (Galaxy Team for short) as a member of the Survey Corps stationed in Jubilife Village. You will be tasked to meet every species of Pokémon from the Hisui region to complete the region’s first-ever Pokédex.
The Galaxy Team will task the player to do missions in the game. Additionally, various people will also ask for help from the player in the form of requests. One of these requests is Request 69, titled “Gone Astray… in the Fieldlands.” This guide will teach you how to complete the “Gone Astray… in the Fieldlands” request.
Gone Astray… in the Fieldlands
To unlock this request, the player must first receive “The Slumbering Lord of the Tundra” mission, the twelfth mission in the game where the player must quell the frenzied Noble Avalugg in the Alabaster Icelands, and complete the “Gone Astray… in the Highlands” Request (request 69) from Zeke in the Galaxy Hall in Jubilife Village.
After that, you can now start this request! To do that, head back to Jubilife Village, enter the Galaxy Hall, and just outside Captain Cyllene’s office on the left, the player will find a man in Agriculture Corps clothing named Zeke. Talk to Zeke, and he will be happy that his sister’s constant savior is her.
He will then tell the player that his sister, Wanda, is missing again and, this time went to the Obsidian Fieldlands, right outside the village, and could not find her way back, so he is worried that something happened to her.
He will then say that he would really appreciate help from the player and the player’s Ursaluna to find Wanda, so he will ask the player to find his sister. Zeke will give the player Wanda’s favorite handkerchief so that the player’s Ursaluna, which is a rideable Pokemon, will pick up her scent. Then, the “Gone Astray… in the Fieldlands” request started just like that!
To complete this request, the player must head to the Obsidian Fieldlands and find Zeke’s sister, Wanda, using the rideable Pokemon Ursaluna. When riding Ursaluna, follow the blue indicator until the player and Ursaluna find Wanda. This blue indicator will only appear once the player is close enough to Wanda. Wanda can be found surrounded by three Paras near the wall of a cliff slightly north of Nature’s Pantry, which is southeast of the Heights Camp, south of Deertrack Heights, or west of Oreburrow Tunnel.
Upon finding Wanda, approach her, and she will ask the player for help. The three Paras will then face the player, and a battle will commence. The player must now defeat the three Paras!
The three Paras that the player will battle are all Level 50. It is worth noting that Paras is a Bug and Grass type Pokemon which means that it has a weakness to the Bug-type, Ice-type, Poison-type, Rock-type, and especially Fire-type and Flying-type moves (super effective) and resistance to Electric-type, Fighting type, Water-type, and especially Grass-type and Ground-type moves (not very effective).
After defeating the three Paras, Wanda will thank the player and say that she would not survive in the Hisui region without the player as his teammate. She will then explain that she came to patrol because she knew that some of the villagers came to the area to hunt for mushrooms and, while keeping an eye out for them, she ended up hunting around for some mushrooms for herself but what ended up was that the mushrooms (the Paras) hunted her. Wanda will then compliment the player’s battling skills and say that the player is probably even better suited to the Security Corps than she is. Finally, she will walk back home.
After finding Wanda, head back to Zeke, still on the left side of Captain Cyllene’s office entrance in the Galaxy Hall in Jubilife Village, and talk to him. You will also see his sister, Wanda, beside him. Zeke will then thank the player again and say he is glad they have the Survey Corps to rely on. He will continue and say that he was so worried when he heard that his sister, Wanda, was caught up in a Pokemon attack and if only Wanda was assigned to patrol the village for a while where it is nice and safe. Finally, Zeke will reward the player with three Star Pieces for your efforts.
Now that you have completed the “Gone Astray… in the Fieldlands” request, you can try to complete other requests, missions, or Arceus’ task for you, which is to catch ‘em all!
