Pokemon Legends: Arceus is set in olden times in the Pokemon world when it was rare to find harmony between people and Pokemon. Set in Hisui, modern-day Sinnoh, you will join the Galaxy Expedition Team (Galaxy Team for short) as a member of the Survey Corps stationed in Jubilife Village. You will be tasked to meet every Hisui Pokemon species to complete the region’s first-ever Pokédex.

How to Complete the “Gone Astray… in the Icelands” Request (Request 86) in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

The Galaxy Team will task the player to do missions in the game. Various people will also ask for help from the player in the form of requests. One of these requests is Request 86, titled “Gone Astray… in the Icelands.” This guide will teach you how to complete the “Gone Astray… in the Icelands” request.

Gone Astray… in the Icelands

To unlock this request, the player must first talk to Volo and Gaeric while on the way to quelling the Noble Hisuian Avalugg, which is part of “The Slumbering Lord of the Tundra” mission, the twelfth mission in the game where the player must quell the frenzied Noble Avalugg in the Alabaster Icelands, and complete the “Gone Astray… in the Fieldlands” Request (request 77) from Zeke in the Galaxy Hall in Jubilife Village.

After that, you can now start this request! To do that, head back to Jubilife Village, enter the Galaxy Hall, and just outside Captain Cyllene’s office on the left, the player will find a man in Agriculture Corps clothing named Zeke. Talk to Zeke, and he will say that his sister, Wanda, snuck out of Jubilife Village without telling him and has not returned.

He will continue to say that he heard that Wanda was dressed up to battle the cold, so he suspects that Wanda went to the Alabaster Icelands. Zeke thinks that the Security Corps sent her there for an assignment, so he wonders why she would want to go to such a dangerous place alone. So, he will ask the player and the player’s Ursaluna for help again. Zeke will give the player Wanda’s favorite handkerchief so that the player’s Ursaluna, a rideable Pokemon, will pick up her scent.

After that, he will say that he will look for Wanda himself, too, as he says he can not just stand by and rely on the player every time. Zeke will leave, the screen will fade to black, then, once it fades back, Wanda will call the player from behind and say that she has been looking for the player.

After selecting a response to the prompt, Wanda will be shocked that his brother went to the Alabaster Icelands, as Zeke never left the village since he was attacked by a Shinx and got traumatized. So, the tables are now turned, and Wanda will ask the player to help her find her brother. Then, the “Gone Astray… in the Icelands” request started just like that!

To complete this request, the player must head to the Alabaster Icelands and find Wanda’s brother,  Zeke, using the rideable Pokemon Ursaluna. When riding Ursaluna, follow the blue indicator until the player and Ursaluna find Zeke. This blue indicator will only appear once the player is close enough to Zeke. Well, now that you are reading a guide for this request, It would be better to tell you where to find Zeke in the Alabaster Icelands.

Zeke can be found inside a large hole northeast of the Icepeak Arena, southwest of Icepeak Camp, southeast of Snowfall Hot Spring, or west of Avalugg’s Legacy.

Upon finding Zeke, approach him, and she will ask the player for help to get out of the hole using the player’s rideable Pokemon, Sneasler. However, a wild Pokemon will suddenly approach them, and this pokemon is an Alpha Glalie. The player must now defeat the Alpha Glalie!

The Alpha Glalie that the player will battle is Level 64, and it is worth noting that Glalie is an Ice-type Pokemon which means that it has a weakness to Fighting type, Fire type, Rock type, and Steel-type moves (super effective) and resistance to Ice type moves (not very effective).

It is worth noting that the player has a choice to not only defeat the Alpha Glalie but also catch the alpha Pokemon.

After defeating the Alpha Pokemon, Zeke will thank the player for saving him from what he thinks is a complete and utter disaster and say that he still has not found Wanda. Select a response from the prompt explaining to Zeke that Wanda is not lost, then Wanda will call the player. The screen will fade to black, and once it fades back, the player will be with Zeke and Wanda in a safer location.

Zeke will be in shock that Wanda is safe, and Wanda will apologize to Zeke for making him worry. Zeke will then ask Wanda what she was thinking about going to the Alabaster Icelands without telling him, and Wanda will reply that she actually found an Ice Stone, which she will give the player.

She will explain that she wanted to find an Ice Stone so she could give it to her savior, the player, as she heard that it is pretty rare, and she thought maybe it could help the player in the survey work. Wanda will also say that she has an Ice Stone for Zeke too.

Wanda will then say that she owes Zeke and the player so much and that she will continue working hard to become a great member of the Security Corps to pay Zeke and the player back for everything they have done for her.

After that, Wanda and Zeke will decide to head back home, and Zeke says that he thinks Wanda still needs the player to look after her for a long time. Finally, Zeke will reward the player with five Star Pieces and one Peat Block for your efforts.

Now that you have completed the “Gone Astray… in the Icelands” request, you can try to complete other requests, missions, or Arceus’ task for you, which is to catch ‘em all!
