Pokemon Legends: Arceus is set in olden times in the Pokemon world when it was rare to find harmony between people and Pokemon. Set in the Hisui region, modern-day Sinnoh, you will join the Galaxy Expedition Team (Galaxy Team for short) as a member of the Survey Corps stationed in Jubilife Village. You will be tasked to meet every Hisui Region species to complete the region’s first-ever Pokédex.
The Galaxy Team will task the player to do missions in the game. Various people will also ask for help from the player in the form of requests. One of these requests is Request 90, titled ‘The Pearl Clan’s Treasure.’ In this guide, you will learn how to complete ‘The Pearl Clan’s Treasure’ request.
The Pearl Clan’s Treasure
To unlock this request, the player must first complete the main story of the game with the last mission called ‘The Counterpart,’ which is the 18th mission in the game where the player must defeat and catch Dialga/Palkia and close the Space-Time Rift at the top of Mount Coronet.
After doing the requirements mentioned above, you can now start this request! To do that, head on to the Pearl Settlement, which is in the northeastern part of the map of the Alabaster Icelands and near the edge of a small cliff near the northeasternmost house in the area, the player will find Irida of the Pearl Clan. Talk to Irida, and she will tell the player she was just about to find and tell the player about a precious thing she found. Confirm that you are curious from the prompt, and she will say that the player should be as there is not a single person in Hisui who would not be interested in treasure. Then, like that, ‘The Pearl Clan’s Treasure’ Request started!
After that, however, Irida will ask the player to guess what she wants the player to do before she shows the treasure. Select any of the answers from the prompt, and she will tell the player that she wants to battle as she wants to achieve the same feats as the player, just like the final mission at the top of Mount Coronet. She will then excuse herself and start to focus by playing her flute. Then, she will tell the player that she and her Pokemon are going to be stronger and travel all over the world. After that, the battle against Irida will Commence!
To complete ‘The Pearl Clan’s Treasure’ Request, the player must defeat Irida and her Pokemon!
Irida’s Pokemon are Flareon, Glaceon, and Espeon, and he will send them all out simultaneously.
With that in mind, it is essential to mention that Irida’s Glaceon is a Level 64 Ice-type Pokemon, which means it has a weakness in Fighting-type, Fire-type, Rock-type, and Steel-type moves (super effective) and resistance to Ice-type moves (not very effective).
Irida’s Espeon is a Level 32 Psychic-type Pokemon, which means it has a weakness to the Bug-type, Dark-type, and Ghost-type moves (super effective) and resistance to Fighting-type and Psychic-type moves (not very effective).
Irida’s Flareon is a Level 32 Fire-type Pokemon which means it has a weakness to Ground-type, Rock-type, and Water-type moves (super effective) and resistance to the Bug-type, Fairy type, Fire-type, Grass-type, Ice-type, and Steel-type moves (not very effective).
After defeating Irida and all her Pokemon, she will ask the player if the player thinks that there are people who are stronger and with stronger Pokemon than the player out in the world and say that maybe she will have to find out for herself. After that, she will then give the player the treasure that she promised earlier, which is a Lustrous Globe, a large and glowing orb that, when used on Palkia, will allow it to change form.
Irida will then explain that the Lustrous Orb belonged to the founder of the Pearl Clan and is somehow connected to the Palkia, and now that Palkia is with the player, she wants to entrust the Lustrous Globe to the player.
Finally, Irida will thank the player for everything and also reward the player with three Comet Shards for your efforts. Then, just like that, the ‘The Pearl Clan’s Treasure’ Request is now completed!
