Later this month will see the launch of Borderlands spinoff, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. Besides the reveal of the Chaos Chamber yesterday, it has been revealed that cross-play will also be available at launch.
This comes from Randy Pitchford on Twitter:
It is worth noting that PlayStation is mentioned explicitly because Sony’s platform has not been available for cross-play when it comes to Borderlands 3. When a fan asked Pitchford, though, he did reply, “The future addition of PlayStation to cross-play for BL3 is now what I would consider being inevitable. More info to come as soon as we have it….”
Though Borderlands is a unique world on its own, the concept of Wonderlands is just so out of the box that I can not wait to get my hands on it. Sure we have been running around this animated wasteland for a while, but throw in some wizards, dragons, and magic, and you have a fresh new twist on a classic franchise.
Embark on an epic adventure full of whimsy, wonder, and high-powered weaponry! Bullets, magic, and broadswords collide across this chaotic fantasy world brought to life by the unpredictable Tiny Tina. Roll your multiclass hero and loot, shoot, slash, and cast your way through outlandish monsters and loot-filled dungeons on a quest to stop the tyrannical Dragon Lord. Everyone is welcome, so join the party, throw on your adventuring boots, and be Chaotic Great!
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands launches for PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC this March 25.
