Cult of the Lamb Teases Free Major Content Update

As per Steam, we just got a sneak peek at an upcoming free major update for Cult of the Lamb, and it will focus on improving combat and dungeon gameplay. In the new update, you can hold the attack button for a HEAVY ATTACK, and each weapon will be given a variation of this move. Besides the heavy attack on the sword, doing it on the axe will give you a boomerang throw that damages enemies from both sides. The heavy attack with the dagger causes daggers to rain from the sky.

Combat isn’t the only thing getting updated, and the sneak peek also promises some tweaks when it comes to boss battles—making it essential for players to try and take on bosses from before.

No release date has been announced for the update yet, but hopefully we’ll get it sometime early in the year.

Here’s the official description for the game:

Start your own cult in a land of false prophets, venturing out into diverse and mysterious regions to build a loyal community of woodland Followers and spread your Word to become the one true cult.

In the meantime, you can check out Cult of the Lamb now available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4|5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
