In Cyberpunk 2077, the respec system is quite different from other games. You can do it, which is good news, but there are also some downsides.
Before jumping into how to do it, we will establish what a respec is in Cyberpunk 2077.
What is a Respec?
Cyberpunk 2077 only allows you to reset your perks. That is why I said that there are downsides to it. As for skill points, there are no ways to reset them for now.
I doubt anyone thinks you can change your life in this game, but You can’t. So, in light of these facts, you must be careful which lifepath you choose and how you use your skill points.
How to Respec a Character in Cyberpunk 2077?
To respec your character in Cyberpunk 2077, you must use a progression shard called Tabula E-Rasa.
The Tabula E-Rasa can be acquired through the Ripperdoc’s store. I don’t want to be the bearer of bad news, but there is no other way to say this. It costs 100k Eurodollars.
So, if you were thinking about switching up your perks a couple of times to try different combinations, you can’t do it quite often.
Eurodollars are hard to come by, even if you focus on getting them. Technically, you can do it a couple of times if you want to, but I wanted to say that it is quite expensive.
Unfortunately, you cannot reset your skills as well. Looking at the price, you might think this should be included, but it isn’t.
If you can’t find the Tabula E-Rasa, it is available in the trade tab of the Ripperdoc’s shop. Once you buy it, your perks will be reset immediately.
At the time of writing, this remains the only way you can respec your character in Cyberpunk 2077. Judging from how the community reacts to the fact that only perks can be reset, we might see a change in the respec system.
