Firaxis’ incoming Midnight Suns already has quite the expansive roster of characters, but the studio had been teasing a DLC pack with more heroes via some Deadpool-centric marketing. Now we have an official announcement for Venom, Morbius, Storm, and of course, Deadpool himself.

Deadpool Announces DLC Heroes for Marvel’s Midnight Suns

Holy hot chimichangas, it’s official! Deadpool will be joining the Midnight Suns in Early 2023 as part of the Season Pass! Joining him in our Season Pass in none other than Venom, Morbius, and Storm.

We don’t have a look at the character abilities yet, but we could have a hint of what Venom does already, seeing as he’s one of the bosses in Midnight Suns. What’s curious is the other three characters incoming. I’m guessing that Morbius could have the same abilities that Blade has since they’re both vampires, and I think that the game will try to bank in on Deadpool’s healing factor abilities like they do with Wolverine. As for Storm, she can probably affect the whole area with her powers, and I think she’ll have a lot of ranged abilities that can damage multiple enemies at a time.

Then again, that’s just me guessing. I think we’ll get a closer look at the characters when we get closer to their release, and that will be sometime after New Year’s.

After centuries of sleep, Lilith, Mother of Demons, has been revived by Hydra through a twist of dark magic and science. Lilith is determined to bring back her evil master, Chthon, and when Marvel’s Midnight Suns releases, you’ll be the world’s best hope of stopping her. Fortunately, you won’t be alone. As the Hunter, a legendary demon slayer with a mysterious past, you’ll fight alongside the Midnight Suns – an unlikely group of seasoned Super Heroes and dangerous supernatural warriors.

The first Midnight Suns season pass is set to come out early 2023. Marvel’s Midnight Suns launches for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4|5 this Dec. 2.
