Does CS: GO 2 Have Community Servers? - Answered

Community Servers were a fun way to kill some time back in CS: GO. These custom servers featured fresh game modes such as Retakes and Executes, Deathmatch, Surfing, and B-Hopping – game modes you will not find in the normal game version.

The new Counter-Strike game carries over many gameplay elements you’ve come to love from the old game but adds some much-needed improvements to things like graphics, tick-rate, physics, and many more. A new map-ban mechanic allows your team to narrow down map options in your current match.

The new features and game mode options are a welcome addition to CS: GO 2. Nevertheless, you’re probably wondering if the new game also has Community Servers like the ones found in CS: GO. We will answer that question in this quick guide.

Does CS: GO 2 have community servers?

Unfortunately, CS: GO 2 does not have community servers. CS: GO 2 is a relatively new game, and it will take a while before community servers are ported to the new game.

For now, you can join any of the community servers listed in the Game Servers menu in the game and play with hundreds of other players in custom lobbies online in the Demo Viewer version of CS: GO. You can enjoy many of your favorite custom servers, such as headshot-only, pistol-only, anti-AWP, etc. Many custom servers are still online even after the release of CS: GO 2, most of which you can join for free anytime.

How to find community servers in CS: GO 2

As mentioned, custom servers currently do not exist for CS: GO 2. However, if you’re itching to play those classic custom game modes, you can still do so by accessing the Demo Viewer version of CS: GO. Here’s how to do it.
