English Voice Cast Revealed in New Trailer for Re:ZERO – Starting Life in Another World – The Prophecy of the Throne

A new character trailer dropped today for Re:ZERO – Starting Life in Another World – The Prophecy of the Throne. We get a chance to see all the characters, but we also hear the English voice cast. The English voice audio will be available after you download and apply the Day One patch. I’ll put the full list at the bottom, but Emilia will be voiced by Kayli Mills. Crusch Karsten will be voiced by Erika Harlacher, and Subaru will be voiced by Sean Chiplock. According to my press release, these are the same voices as the English anime cast, so that’s great.

If you’ve never watched the anime or read the manga, the Re:Zero series is about a young high school guy who finds himself in a fantasy world. He discovers he has a unique ability called Return By Death that lets him go back to a certain point if he dies to fix his future. It has action, horror, great characters, and a lot of twists to keep you guessing. I think it’s great, but you can watch it on Crunchyroll to decide for yourself.
The story for the game is all-new. It’s set after the mabeasts attack the village and focuses on the royal selection. A sixth potential candidate has appeared, and everyone naturally suspects that Emilia is an imposter. You’ll need to unravel a conspiracy and use Return By Death when things go a little wrong.
Re:ZERO – Starting Life in Another World – The Prophecy of the Throne will release on January 29th, 2021.
