Evil Dead: The Game had taken a leaf from asymmetrical survival horror games like Dead By Daylight, but now it looks like they’re adding one more classic game mode that almost every game seems to have nowadays.

The official description reads:
The Splatter Royale update is now live! Embrace your inner demon and battle with up to 40 players as a Deadite version of your favorite character. Only one badass will be left standing.
The Splatter Royale update also includes new Survivor Ruby, new weapons, and new premium cosmetics.
Though the game is introducing us to a new version of the character Ruby, she was introduced to us in the Ash vs Evil Dead series played by Lucy Lawless. We don’t know just how different this Ruby will be from the series version, but since she is the ‘Dark One’ and the author of the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis, we should expect her to have some kind of magical abilities that will have something to do with her demon-summoning history.
With the game managing to earn a lot of players last November with their free promotion, this should come as a huge treat for players. Even if you don’t watch the Evil Dead films, there’s a lot to love from this classic horror/slasher IP.

Evil Dead: The Game is currently playable for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4|5.
