General Thoughts
Nine is a 6 star character with well rounded stats and good skill coverage. He’s a physical damage character and unlike Cinque his skills actually line up in what his role wants him to do.
Nine focuses on old school Dragoon class styles of play like from early Final Fantasy games or characters like Kain Highwind. So his first skill is Jump and that will probably be used more than his basic attack.
He has the typical amount of buffs that give him a bit of an edge in a fight. Defense and Attack buffs plus Demon Killer which allows more damage on demons.
His real use is going to come from his first few skills. Jump and Javelin Throw will be his main focus of dealing damage.
Once you get Hyper Jump you’ll replace that with Jump when ever you can then swap when you can’t use it anymore. But his use stays the same regardless of the move he’s using.
Whirling Lance can also replace Javelin Throw when you reach it and swap between them as you see fit. His real damage dealer is his final skill Hyper Dive.
Kind of the ultimate Jump move which gives a jump delay to enemies for 3 turns. It’s definitely something Nine is going to be using at least once every lengthy fight.
Now his Limit Burst is perfect for his character build. Laser Lance simply deals heavy damage with a 100% critical chance.
So he’s basically going to hit hard then hit insanely hard with that guaranteed critical. So using his Limit Burst when you can is an absolute must.
Nine’s only real downfall is his lack of equipment. 2 weapons and 3 armor is very limiting and nothing special to brag about.
But being the kind of character he is and having Spear Adept you really only wanna keep him with a spear and good clothing armor.
Verdict: Great choice for that old Dragoon play style.

Lore
A young man who appears in the tales of a world divided into four nations that individually control their own unique Crystals. Nine is a member of Akademeia’s Class Zero, and a cadet in training to become Agito, the legendary savior or saviors. He is brash in nature, and is as skilled with the lance as he is hot-headed. When Kurasame became Class Zero’s new commanding officer, Nine’s response was telling him to “take a hike.” However, he seems to completely trust Class Zero’s adoptive mother, Arecia.
