Learn where to find an Alpha Gardevoir in Pokemon Legends: Arceus!
Pokemon Legends: Arceus takes place in the beginnings of the Pokemon world when humans and Pokemon hardly lived in harmony.
This game occurs in the Hisui region, which was eventually renamed Sinnoh in the current Pokemon universe.
To complete Hisui’s first Pokédex, which they use to study Pokemon, the player must catch all of the Pokémon found in this region.
At Jubilife Village, the player will join the Galaxy Expedition Team (also known as the Galaxy Team) as part of the Survey Corps, which studies every Pokemon in the region.
Alpha Pokemon in the game are larger than ordinary, have flaming red eyes, and are packed with Wild Might, improving their stats and battling abilities.
This guide will teach you where to find an Alpha Gardevoir in Pokemon Legends: Arceus!
Alpha Pokemon
Alpha Pokemon are always stronger than their regular counterparts. Except for Mantyke and Mantine, they are all hostile and never depart when confronted by the player (except when the type of Alpha Pokemon appears during a certain time of day or if a Space-Time Distortion appears around them).
When the player gets too close to an Alpha Pokemon, it roars and emits a shockwave. If the player is too close, the shockwave will cause the player to stumble and fall to the ground.
Any level of Alpha Pokemon can be caught by battling them before throwing a Poke Ball. The player can avoid battling.
If the player’s current obedience level is significantly lower than the level of the Alpha Pokemon, they will be unable to capture them without engaging in combat.
The player can avoid battling by sneaking up on Alpha Pokemon in tall grass or using stealth items before tossing a Poke Ball their way.
Players who have trouble catching an Alpha Pokemon can improve their Survey Corps rank by performing research tasks and speaking with Professor Laventon at any base Camp.
The player can encounter three types of Alpha Pokemon in the game: fixed Alpha Pokemon, which always spawn in the same areas and have the same level as the player; random Alpha Pokemon, which may appear only after the player calms the area’s agitated Noble Pokemon; and Alpha Pokemon in Massive Mass Outbreaks, which may appear as a second wave in the same location as the first wave of a Mass Outbreak.
We will look at fixed Alpha Pokemon, particularly an Alpha Gardevoir because the other two types are completely randomized.
Alpha Gardevoir
Gardevoir is a Psychic and Fairy-type Embrace Pokemon that has a white and green body that looks like it is wearing a flowing gown, short green hair that also covers most of its face and the sides of its head, a pair of red eyes with black pupils, a pair of long and thin arms with three fingers on each hand, a pair of white and slender legs, a red horn on its chest that is shaped like a fin, another red horn on its back but is more rounded, a green band on its chest that connected to its arms, and a green underside.
According to its Pokedex entry in the game, Gardevoir’s pristine white gown, reminiscent of those worn by royalty, is the attire of someone willing to lose their life. Gardevoir will also devote itself to safeguarding a master it has grown to admire.
An Alpha Gardevoir can be found in Heart’s Crag (southeast of the Pearl Settlement or northeast of Avalugg’s Legacy) east of the Alabaster Icelands.
Gardevoir can be found in these locations in every weather condition but only here during the morning, midday, and evening. The Alpha Gardevoir found in this location is a Level 70 Pokemon.
Sneak up behind the Alpha Pokemon with tall grass and/or other stealth items like Smoke Bombs, then throw the player’s Pokemon or Poke Ball onto its back to catch it off guard and, if battling, guarantee that the player strikes first.
Gardevoir prefers Dazzling Honey, Springy Mushrooms, Hearty Grains, and Plump Beans, which makes them ideal baits to distract it before catching or battling it.
Also, it is important to mention if you plan on battling it first before catching it, that Gardevoir, again, is a Psychic and Fairy-type Pokemon that has a weakness to Ghost-type, Poison-type, and Steel-type moves (super effective), a resistance to Psychic type and especially Fighting type moves (not very effective), and an immunity to Dragon-type moves (no effect).
Aside from the Alpha Gardevoir in the location mentioned above, the regular, non-alpha Gardevoir can also be found in Massive Mass Outbreaks in the Alabaster Icelands.
Now that the player has caught an Alpha Gardevoir, the player can try to use the Alpha Gardevoir to complete other requests, missions, or Arceus’ tasks for the player to catch ‘em all!
