In this newest update of Fortnite, there are new additions to the game which haven’t been seen before. The first one is the Beast Boy skin, which can turn into an actual gorilla. This is a reference to the DC’s own Beast Boy. In any case, before this skin hits the Fortnite shops, there is a chance to unlock it. Today, we will show you how you can unlock the Beast Boy skin!
How to Unlock Beast Boy Skin – Fortnite
The method of obtaining this skin is unorthodox, like the nature of the skin itself. Players that want to unlock it need to compete in a tournament, in a very short window, to have the chance to get it.
There are other rewards at stake as well. There is a different version of the skin as well, plus a loading screen picture art for it, and a spray emote.
So, how to unlock the Beast Boy skin? Well, all you need to do is play in the Teen Titans Cup, the Duos tournament, on May 12th. This is the only way to unlock the skin early.
Additionally, to get the other rewards, players would need to get a minimum of 8 points, to get the loading screen. Epic has warned players that the spray for the skin might take a while to get into players’ inventories, nothing short of a few days after competing.
There will be only a three-hour window to play in the Tournament, and the specific times for each region can be found in the Compete tab in the game.
There are two requirements to enter the Teen Titans Cup:
- Players must be above level 30;
- Players must have Two-Factor Authentication enabled on their account.
Other than that, there are rules and guidelines to be followed, for more information on how to compete in the tournament.
Again, this skin is very special, and one of the first ones to have such a unique ability. If you miss the window for competing, the only way to unlock the skin, would be through the item shop when it becomes available.
