Finding all ghost locations in GTA Online’s Ghost Exposed event can be tricky, but not with this handy guide of all the locations to photograph.
Rockstar Games is back with Ghosts Exposed, a limited-time Halloween event where you hunt for and photograph ghost sightings in GTA Online to earn exclusive rewards. The collectible mission dropped on October 10, and we expect it to run until Halloween, but there’s no official end date yet.
This year, all the ghost locations are in Los Santos, but they’re hard to find since they don’t show up on the map and spawn at specific times. We’ve done the work for you by pinpointing all ghost locations in GTA Online and their spawn times. This way, you can take their photos and submit them to Ghost Exposed to claim your rewards before the event ends.

Finding All Ghosts for GTA Online Ghost Exposed
This year’s Ghost Exposed event has 10 ghost locations, each with two spawn spots, all showing up at night from 7 PM to 6 AM in-game. Each ghost only appears for one in-game hour (two real minutes), so you’ll need to act fast to snap a photo before it disappears and head to the next spot.
It’s best to use a fast vehicle to move quickly between locations in any order. However, for the tenth ghost to appear, you must photograph the first nine.
10 Ghost Locations in GTA Online
If you’ve received the email to submit your Ghost Exposed photos to claim rewards, here are all 10 ghost locations in GTA Online:
Ghost One Location – 7pm to 8pm
The first ghost spawns at 7 PM in-game time, and you’ll find it near the cemetery in Pacific Bluffs. This ghost can appear in two different spots:
- On top of the tomb in the cemetery.
- On top of the church spire nearby.
Ghost Two Location – 8pm to 9pm
The second ghost appears in the homeless settlement under the highway in Strawberry and can spawn on either your left or right side, standing on a sofa.
Ghost Three Location – 9pm to 10pm
You’ll find Ghost number Three at El Burro Heights near the water tower. It spawns in two spots:
- On top of the water tower.
- Above the memorial at the corner.
Ghost Four Location – 10pm to 11pm
Ghost four spawns at the Miriam Turner Overpass bridge near Los Santos International Airport. The bridge is quite long, but you can find the ghost on the western side.
It appears on top of one of the support pillars, either on the left or right side, and you’ll see a red light indicating its presence.
Ghost Five Location – 11 pm to 12 pm
Ghost five appears at Miguel Madrazo’s Mansion in Vinewood Hills, either at the front or back of the tower.
Ghost Six Location – 1 am to 2 am
You’ll find the sixth ghost at the Cypress Flats trainyard. It spawns in one of two spots:
- The doorway platform with the Raven text above it.
- On the hook above the train tracks by the traffic lights.
Ghost Seven Location – 2 am to 3 am
To find Ghost seven, head to the church in Rockford Hills and stand in the nearby parking lot. The ghost spawns in front of the balcony on one of the church’s two towers.
Ghost Eight Location – 4am to 5am
Ghost Eight appears at the church in Little Seoul, but photographing it can be tricky. The ghost can spawn on two sides of the church tower—one facing the main road and the other facing the back.
Ghost Nine Location – 5am to 6am
The ninth ghost appears in East Vinewood at the abandoned apartment building near the Casino. It spawns on the upper floor, either in the left or right corner of the walkway.
Ghost Ten Location – 12 am to 1 am
The tenth ghost only appears after you’ve photographed the previous nine and spawns between 12 AM and 1 AM. This means you’ll need to wait until the next in-game midnight for the ghost of Dom Beasley to appear.
To find it, head to the base of the Land Act Dam and look for the small metal gate where water flows. The ghost will appear beside the gate. This marks the end of the ghost location hunt for Ghost Exposed.
Conclusion
After successfully photographing all ten ghosts, you’ll unlock the Ghost Exposed outfit and the Ghosts Exposed livery for the Albany Brigham vehicle.
Each ghost photo you send earns you GTA$ 20,000 and 500 RP. Once you’ve captured all 10, you’ll receive an additional GTA$ 50,000, bringing your total earnings to GTA$ 250,000.
