From the creators of Guacamelee! comes a new action RPG called Nobody Saves the World. The game looks just as gothic as the title, and developer Drinkbox Studios has released a new launch trailer for their latest title.

Grim Action RPG Nobody Saves the World Launches on Xbox and PC

The Calamity’s power is growing, and nobody can save the world now. Good thing you’re a nobody!

The game basically has you complete quests so that you can unlock various forms, and each new body also comes with specific abilities that help you traverse different locations. You can also combine your different powers to come up with new ways to kick ass.

If the world of the Calamity is too much for you, online co-op also allows you the chance to play with a friend. If you though matching abilities was fun alone, just wait till you have someone else who can play alongside you.

It’s also worth noting that Nobody Saves the World is a roguelike and it features shifting dungeons with different challenges everytime. The developers also like to put a heavy emphasis that the game demands more questing as compared to grinding; progression doesn’t come from defeating monsters, but completing quests, and they can range from tasks to ‘poison enemies’ to ‘cheering up fellow rabbit-lovers’.

Like I said, the design and feel of the world is very gothic, and you can liken it to Cartoon Network’s Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy. If you like unexpected challenges and cartoon-y horrors, this game is definitely for you.

Nobody Saves the World is now available for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
