Grounded has a huge map and there are a lot of things to explore and find from different creatures to hidden easter eggs scattered all around. One of the latest additions has been the Koi Fish. It’s an enemy that after defeating it you can get their scales to craft the Koi Fish Armor and that’s what we will talk about today in this article. Where to find it and how to craft it.
Where to find Koi Armor?
The latest update of the game in August introduced the Koi Fish creature and did some updates to the underwater world. That’s why it’s called the Water update but more on that later. You can find Koi creature in the pond north of the Oak Tree.
The Koi Fish armor is made out of three parts the helmet, chest plate, and the greaves. The total amount of scales needed to craft all of them is 10 but it doesn’t end with that you’ll need some additional items to finish crafting such as seven Lilypad Wax, seven Eelgrass Strand, one diving mask and a set of flippers.
- Koi Scale Helmet – 2 Koi Fish Scale, 1 Diving Mask, 2 Eelgrass Strand, 2 Lilypad Wax, 3 Diving Bell Spider Silk
- Koi Scale Chestplate – 5 Koi Fish Scale, 3 Cattail Fluff, 3 Eelgrass Strand, 3 Lilypad Wax, 2 Bones
- Koi Scale Greaves – 3 Koi Fish Scale, 2 Cattail Fluff, 2 Eelgrass Strand, 2 Lilypad Wax, 1 Flippers.
The full set bonus has not been deducted yet what it does but we know for sure that the helmet gives you Veteran Diver trait and that the greaves give you Swim Speed bonus.
These values and recipes can change so don’t take them as the absolute truth and that’s the same about the traits from armor. Whenever we discover the full armor bonus we’ll make sure to update it here so stay tuned about that.
The water update apart from the Koi Fish and the Koi Fish armor also introduced several new features and enemies that have to do with water. Like the Water Strieder and Diving Bell Spider.
