Learn how to complete The Construction Assassination mission in GTA 5!
Despite GTA 5 having three unique protagonists, Franklin is undeniably the game’s real star. Michael and Trevor are given their unique missions and objectives, but most missions required to complete the game with 100% completion are with Franklin.
That said, Lester will give Franklin five assassination missions to eliminate certain VIPs around Los Santos. In the process, Lester makes the necessary investments in competing stocks to make money.
The Construction Assassination mission is Lester’s last mission to Franklin. We have outlined everything you need to know about The Construction Assassination Mission, including how you can make a ton of money and get a Gold Medal for completing the mission in GTA 5.
The Construction Assassination Synopsis
While strolling around town, Franklin comes across another random ringing payphone. Franklin picks up the phone and greets Lester, who’s on the other end of the line. Lester gives Franklin his final assassination mission – a former mafia member turned real estate developer named Enzo Bonelli.
Despite Enzo Bonelli’s transition from mafia activities to real estate development, he still uses extortion, murder, labor racketeering, and other mafia-like methods to secure half of the building contracts in Los Santos. Lester is unhappy that construction workers in Los Santos are barely making a living and that the other real estate developer, Gold Coast Development, is about to go under.
Lester sends Franklin to the construction site downtown to deal with Enzo Bonelli. In the meantime, Lester makes the appropriate investments in Gold Coast Development, which could see a price spike when Enzo Bonelli finally goes down.
Before Franklin puts the phone down, Lester tells him that his source has snitched on him and that Enzo Bonelli is expecting an assassination attempt. Lester tells Franklin to be careful and vigilant.
Franklin heads to the construction site once he puts the phone down. Meanwhile, a cutscene shows a frantic Enzo Bonelli talking to one of his security. Enzo heads to his chopper on the top floor of the unfinished building, ready to escape in case things go bad.
Franklin makes his way to the rooftop of the building on the construction site and deals with multiple guards that Enzo Bonelli has sent to deal with his assassin. Franklin eventually reaches the top of the building and spots Enzo Bonelli’s chopper trying to escape. Franklin pulls out his rocket launcher to take out Enzo Bonelli’s chopper.
After dealing with Enzo Bonelli, Franklin makes his way down the building and calls Lester to tell him the job is done. Lester commends Franklin for his good work but tells him to lay low as they have gathered too much heat with the recent job.
The Construction Assassination Gold Medal Objectives
- Time: Time is taken to complete the mission.
- No Fly Zone: Shoot down the target’s helicopter.
- Money Earned: Money earned from the hit.
All Gold Medal objectives for this mission can be completed through multiple replays. You can return another time and replay the mission to get the rest of the Gold Medal objectives.
The Construction Assassination Mission Guide
Note: Before you start the Bus Assassination mission, it is recommended that you complete the GTA 5 Main Storyline first. This way, all three protagonists will have a considerable amount of money they can invest in stocks.
Invest the money of all three protagonists in GoldCoast (GCD) before starting The Construction Assassination mission. Wait a few in-game days for the stock to mature, then sell off all the protagonists’ stocks for profit.
Go to the construction site in Pillbox Hill marked yellow on the map.
Your goal is to get to the building’s rooftop. To get there, you need to find the entrance to the building.
Drive towards this side of the construction site.
Park your car along the fence. This will serve as your boost so you can climb over the fence.
Climb up the roof towards the left. Get ready to take out the guard. You can wait for him to turn away from your direction and take him out with a stealth kill.
Use the elevator to get to the top floor of the building.
Take out the guards on the middle floor.
Locate the next elevator that leads to the rooftop.
Enzo will try to escape when you arrive on the top floor. Take out your RPG and destroy his chopper.
You don’t have to deal with the rest of the security after Enzo is dealt with. Jump off the building and parachute down to safety.
Franklin will call Lester when he’s far from the construction site.
Mafia Assassin
The Construction Assassination mission is the last assassination job that Lester gives Franklin in GTA 5. If you made the appropriate investments in all five assassination missions in GTA 5, you could make up to $2,000,000,000 by the end of The Construction Assassination mission.
Getting the Gold Medal Objective for The Construction Assassination mission in GTA 5 is a given since you need to take out Enzo Bonelli’s chopper if you want to complete the mission. Use your rocket launcher to destroy Enzo Bonelli’s chopper and get the No Fly Zone Gold Medal Objective.
