PC

1. Press and hold the ALT key.
   
2. Drag your mouse toward the character you want to switch to.
   
3. Release the ALT key.

PlayStation

1. Press and hold the Down button on the D-Pad.
   
2. Use the Right Analog-stick to highlight the character you want to switch to.
   
3. Release the Down button on the D-Pad.

Xbox

1. Press and hold the Down Button on the D-Pad.
   
2. Use the Right Analog-stick to highlight your preferred character.
   
3. Release the Down Button after you’ve made your selection.

How to Switch Characters in GTA Online

Switching characters in GTA Online is not as simple as in Story Mode. You can make multiple GTA Online characters but cannot switch between them on the fly.

Nevertheless, follow the steps below to switch to a different GTA Online character.

1. Click on the Online Tab in the Pause Menu.

2. Select Choose Character.

3. Choose Confirm to quit the current session.

4. Pick the GTA Online character you want to switch to.
