With the player’s insatiable desire for more Helldivers 2 content, the developers have finally released a statement about an upcoming major update, Helldivers 2: Escalation of Freedom. They will add new missions, stronger enemy variants, and higher difficulty levels.

Helldivers 2 will be giving away a TR-40 Golden Eagle armor set as Steam’s equivalent of a Twitch drop. This serves both as a promotion for the major update and a reward for their loyal player base for their continuous support. This giveaway will only last for a specific duration, but if you miss out on the chance, the TR-40 Golden Eagle armor will be available to all players in a couple of days as a fresh Warband reward.

How to Get the TR-40 Golden Eagle Armor Early

As mentioned earlier, the TR-40 Armor will be available for all players on all platforms this coming August 8, 2024. However, you can obtain this beautiful armor set much earlier than your peers by watching a Livestream.

This is the Escalation of Freedom Update Livestream, which will start on August 6, 2024, at 10 A.M. BST / 2 A.M. PT. You can catch the Livestream on Helldivers 2’s Steam Page.

The developers will run the livestream for 24 hours, and players will be rewarded with the TR-40 Golden Armor after watching for 10 minutes while logged into the Stream account. The armor will be sent directly to your inventory once the viewing requirement is met.

Unfortunately, this is only available for PC users. PlayStation 5 players will have to wait for the TR-40 armor to be officially released into the game.

Is TR-40 Golden Eagle Armor Worth It?
