Helldivers 2: How to use Supply Pack Stratagem

Learn how to use the Supply Pack stratagem in Helldivers 2 to ensure you and your team members never run out of ammunition.

Running out of ammunition, grenades, and stims during battle is all too common in Helldivers 2, especially when loot is scarce. Unfortunately, facing terminids or automatons is more difficult when you don’t have sufficient resources.

Thankfully, you can easily obtain and use the B-1 Supply Backpack. This handy supply backpack contains ammunition, grenades, and stims that you and your teammates can use to restock and reload.

How to use Supply Pack

The Supply Pack Stratagem in Helldivers 2 supplies you and your fellow Helldivers with some resources. Luckily, it’s a backpack you can carry around rather than a fixed placement. The pack contains 4 supply boxes that will replenish half the support weapon mags, all reserve mags for primary and secondary, 2 grenades, and 2 stims.

Purchase B-1 Supply Pack

To use the Pack, you must first purchase it from Ship Management under the Stratagem tab in the Engineering Bay section. The Stratagem unlocks at Level 5 and can be acquired for 4,000 Requisition points.

Add B-1 Supply Pack in Loadout

You won’t be able to use the Supply Pack unless you bring it with you on your mission. After selecting a planet and the type of mission, the loadout window will appear once you enter your Hellpad. Add the B-1 Supply Pack and the other Stratagem you need into your loadout.

Call down the Strategem

The supply won’t be automatically added to your inventory once you land on the planet; you must call it down from your ship.

For PC Users: Hold Ctrl + Enter the Sequence
For Playstation Users: Hold L1 + Enter the Sequence
Once successful, your character will be holding a Stratagem ball. Throw it to the ground.
The ball will create a beam indicating where your Stratagem lands.
Pick up the Stratagem Backpack.

Resupply Yourself

To use the Supply charge on yourself, Press 5 on your keyboard. The ammunition, grenades, and stims will be automatically added to your inventory.

Resupply your Squad Mate

To resupply your squad mates, approach them while wearing the backpack:

Press E on PC
Press X on PlayStation 5

This works only if you still have supplies in your backpack. The charges are indicated as small yellow boxes.

Resupply the Backpack

Even after exhausting all the charges, don’t discard your backpack just yet. You can still restock supplies in it by using the Resupply Stratagem. This strategy is especially helpful when your Supply Pack Stratagem is still on cooldown.
