How to Get the Double Jump in The Last Faith
You can get the Double Jump in The Last Faith after you defeat Manfredd the Accursed in Ordens Regnant Palace. After you defeat Manfredd, head to the next room, and there you’ll find a large chest that contains Celestial Larva – an item that gives you the double jump ability in The Last Faith.
Manfred the Accursed can be found in a locked room in Ordens Palace, and the only way to unlock the room is by lighting up four braziers hidden around the palace.
Getting the Ordens Palace Master Key
Before anything else, you’ll want to acquire the Ordens Palace Master Key, as you will need this key to unlock doors leading to the braziers around the palace.
Head to the location marked below and try to reach the topmost level. You will find a large ice crystal blocking the way to the large chest behind it. Blow up the crystal to access the chest containing the Ordens Palace Master Key.
To break the crystal, head down to the bottom level, then look for a spiky object with a red orb in the center. This is a bomb that you will use to destroy the ice crystal blocking the path towards the chest.
With the bomb in hand, go back to the topmost floor, then throw the bomb toward the ice crystal. After a second, the bomb should explode and break the ice crystal. Head to the chest and open it to get the Ordens Palace Master Key.
Note: Some players have faced bugs where the ice crystal refuses to disintegrate. You can try reloading the game to fix the issue.
Unlocking the Main Door
Now that you have the Ordens Palace Master Key, you should be able to access the four braziers around the palace. You don’t have to do anything special to activate the altars. Simply interact with each one when you find them.
Refer to the images below to find all four braziers in Ordens Regnant Palace.
Brazier 1
Brazier 1 is the easiest one to find. Use the Ordens Palace Master Key to open the door, walk inside, then interact with the brazier to activate it.
Brazier 2
Like Brazier 1, finding Brazier 2 is easy, and accessing the brazier within is also straightforward.
Brazier 3
Things get more challenging in Brazier 3. Not only will you have to fight against two annoying monsters, but you also need to find a bomb to blow up the ice crystal blocking the brazier.
This time, you will find the bomb in the topmost area of the room, while the ice crystal is in the bottommost area.
Brazier 4
The last Brazier can be found at the southeastern end of the palace. Like Brazier 3, you will face multiple enemies and obstacles in Brazier 4. However, you can just cheese your way out of the first room by jumping over enemies and obstacles.
Brazier 4 can be found on the balcony just outside the room. Head to the upper floor, go to the rightmost end to find the door leading to the balcony, then interact with the brazier to activate it.
Brazier 4 is the last brazier you must activate to open the locked door. Now you can head back to the door and fight Manfredd the Accursed.
Beat Manfredd and Get the Double Jump Ability
Now that all four braziers are listed head back to the locked door in the middle of the palace. Make your way to the rightmost room until you reach the large room where Manfredd the Accursed resides.
After you beat Manfredd the Accursed, head to the next room, where you’ll find a chest that contains the item “Celestial Larva.” This item will give you temporary wings when you jump, allowing you to make a second jump in mid-air.
Final Thoughts
The Double Jump ability is something you’ll want to acquire as soon as possible in The Last Faith. Not only will double jump allow you to evade enemies more easily, but it will also allow you to access new locations you normally cannot reach with just a single jump.
