Laurian Studios has been stacking up success story after success story, and it seems like it will be similar with Baldur’s Gate 3 too.

How to Jump in Baldur's Gate 3

This game features a lot of aspects and mechanics similar to other games from their roster. For example, the movement and combat system seem closely related to the one in Divinity.

Movements are similar, and so the jumping is still weird to me, like it was in Divinity. But I have managed to figure it out, and I will share with you today how to jump in Baldur’s Gate 3.

There might be some Divinity and Dungeons and Dragons fans out there that will disagree with my next statement. Which is that I genuinely don’t like the combat or movement system in this game.

But I do get it why so many players could fall in love with it. It’s just not for me. Nevertheless, other than that this game is unbelievably good.

However, enough about that let’s get to the main topic of conversation, jumping in Baldur’s Gate.

This is how to jump in Baldur’s Gate 3:

  1. While in-game, hover over your bonus actions at the bottom of the screen and find Jump.
  2. Click it.
  3. After that choose the place you want to jump to.

The game won’t specifically instruct you how to do this, even though you will be asked to jump a small gap at the beginning of the game in order to progress further.

This can also be an interesting combat tactic to avoid or get close to enemies. There is a distance limit to jumping however. Of course, you are not Superman and can’t jump the whole map.

But close distances of a few feet are manageable. Good luck!
