Once Human: How to Get and Use Wish Machine

Wish Machine in Once Human functions as a Gacha, where you can obtain new gear pieces, blueprints, and cosmetics. Here’s how to get and use it in the game.

Once Human is a free-to-play multiplayer survival game that offers exciting features such as building a base in the overworld, adding a defense system, purifying raids, world bosses, weapon crafting, and many others.

Crafting the Wishing Machine in the game is surprisingly straightforward. However, collecting Starchrom for drawing can be a bit more demanding. Keep reading to learn how to craft a Wishing Machine in Once Human.

How to Get a Wish Machine

The Machine in Once Human can be obtained for free during the main questline in the Greywater Camp Settlement in Iron River. Your character will be asked to interact with the machine, and once you do so, you’ll be given an option to take it. You can find the Machine in your inventory to use and place in your base.

How to Unlock a Wish Machine

Once the Wish Machine is in your inventory, you must unlock it. You can unlock the formula through your Memetics in exchange for 3 Meme Points and 200 Energy Link:

Press 'O' on your keyboard.
Select Memetics.
Select Logistics Tab
In Tier 3 Ascendance select Wish Machine
Press “Confirm.”

How to Craft a Wish Machine

With the formula unlock, you can craft the Machine in your base by Pressing 'B' on your keyboard. Next, select the Facilities Tab and then the Function Facility Tab. You’ll need the following materials in order to craft the Machine:

x25 Copper Ingot
x10 Rusted Part
x5 Metal Scraps
x3 Rubber
x5 Glass

Note: You can only craft the Machine in your base or within the shared territory.

How to Use Wish Machine

As mentioned earlier, the Machine is Once Human’s Gacha game where, using Starchrom, you can Pull rolls for a chance of obtaining skins, gear pieces and blueprints. You need 500 Starchrom for x1 draw or 5,000 Starchrom for x10 draw.

To Use the Wish Machine, simply interact by Pressing 'F' to Make a Wish and select a Pool. You’ll enter a mini-game of Whac-A-Mole. Hitting a llama with a hammer is considered one roll.

Alternatively, you can purchase good gear blueprints instead of using the Starchrom to test your luck. By Pressing 'G' on your keyboard while facing the Machine, you’ll enter its Blueprint Shop. Legendary Blueprint usually costs 8,000 Starchrom while Purple costs 3,000-2,000 Starchrom.

How to Get Starchrom

Starchrom is another in-game currency strictly used for Gacha and tied to the Wish Machine. It can be obtained in various ways, such as Territory Purification, Prime War, Advent, and mostly in participating Season Goals.

Season Goals are tasks you can complete in-game to earn Marks as a reward. Tasks usually consist of four types: Territory, Exploration, Security, and Challenges.

With Marks accumulated and the required milestone reached, you’ll be rewarded with Starchrom. To check the Season Goal, press ESC and click on the first banner on your right screen.
