One of the Shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the Qaza Tokki Shrine or Qaza Tokki’s Blessing. The Shrine itself is no challenge at all. As you enter the Qaza Tokki Shrine, Link will be able to access the shrine’s chest, and he will be able to access the altar and talk to the monk immediately. The real challenge is completing the Trail on the Cliff Shrine Quest to access Qaza Tokki Shrine. In this guide, you will learn how to complete the Trial on the Cliff Shrine Quest to access and complete Qaza Tokki Shrine, obtain the chest inside, and claim the Spirit Orb.

Link will be rewarded with Spirit Orbs for completing Shrines. The Spirit Orbs obtained can be exchanged for more Heart Containers or Stamina Vessels. As there are 120 Shrines all over Hyrule, Link can get 120 Spirit Orbs. You can decide whether you want Link to have more Hearts or Stamina.

The Qaza Tokki Shrine can be found inside the North Lomei Labyrinth, which is in the northernmost part of Hyrule (the shrine can be found just east of the N. Tabantha Snowfield in the Tabantha Tundra or north of Mount Drena near the Great Hyrule Forest). The Qaza Tokki Shrine is one of 13 shrines in the Hebra Tower region.

It is important to note that there is a Silver Lynel on the path from N. Tabantha Snowfield to the North Lomei Labyrinth, so proceed with caution.

Additionally, it is also worth mentioning that the climate in the area is frigid, so make sure that Link has cold-resistant armor, food, or elixirs.

Trial on the Cliff

Before attempting the Trial on the Cliff Shrine Quest, ensure that Link has enough weapons, shields, bows, arrows, and food for health (cooked or not) to use as Link will encounter enemies inside the Labyrinth.

Link must head to and enter the North Lomei Labyrinth to start the Trial on the Cliff Shrine Quest. Upon stepping foot in the North Lomei Labyrinth, Link will hear a voice that will say:

“You who have reached this point… proceed onward through the maze, and you will receive a reward.”

After that, the Trial on the Cliff Shrine Quest started!

To complete his shrine quest, Link must reach the Qaza Tokki Shrine in the middle of the North Lomei Labyrinth. To do just that, this is what Link must do:

  1. From the entrance of the North Lomei Labyrinth, head completely straight, then up a flight of stairs, and you will see the Qaza Tokki Shrine behind a gate.
  2. Upon reaching the gate, the path will be divided into two. Head to the path on the right, which leads down a flight of stairs, and Link will reach a crossroads. On the crossroads, head to the path on the left, which leads up to another flight of stairs, then down again on another flight of stairs, and the path will again be divided into two.
  3. Next, take the path on the right, which has a little turn to the left and right again, and the path will be divided again into two. Here, take the path on the left, take the next path on the right, and take the next immediate path on the left. At the end of the path, take the path on the left, and Link will reach a wall with a path on both sides. Take the path on the right to the wall, then take the path on the left.
  4. On this path, which has a turn to the right and then left again, Link will encounter a Lizalfos from a different path. It is not required to defeat the Lizalfos, but it would be better to do so to get rid of the nuisance.
  5. After that, continue to head straight, and you will find an opening on the wall on the right side with a Hunter’s Shield. Then, just a little bit ahead of that opening is another opening on the wall on the left with a bunch of arrows and a Meteor Rod.
  6. On the end of the path across the wall’s opening with a Meteor Rod, you will find a flight of stairs with a Lizalfos on top that is guarding a chest. There are also Lizalfos in the surrounding paths. Defeat the Lizalfos and open the chest to obtain an Edge of Duality.
  7. After that, head back to the opening on the wall with the Meteor Rod and take the path on the right (assuming that Link’s back is where the chest was and Link is facing the opening on the wall). You will see another opening on the wall on the right with an Enhanced Lizal Spear.
  8. Continue straight on the path to the wall, turn on the left, take the next immediate right, then take the next path on the left. Next, head straight on the path to the wall, take the turn on the right, take the next immediate left, then take the immediate path on the right.
  9. After that, head straight on the path to the wall, take the path on the left and head straight to the wall. Then, take the path on the right, take the immediate path on the left, then take the immediate right, and you will find a flight of stairs with a bunch of torches on top. Head up the flight of stairs, and you will see a chest. Open the chest to obtain a Silver Rupee (100 Rupees).
  10. Head back on the path, take the path on the right, then take the immediate path on the left. Then, continue straight on this path to the wall, take the path on the right, head straight to the wall, take the path on the left, and take the immediate path on the right.
  11. Next, continue straight on this path to the wall, take the path on the left, head straight to the wall, take the path on the right, take the next immediate left, take another left, take the path on the right, and take the path on the left. After that, take the path on the left, take the next path on the left, take the immediate right to the wall, take the path on the right, take the next path on the left, take the immediate right, and take the next path on the right.
  12. On this path, you will see that the path is obstructed by malice. Face the path on the left, and you will see the eyeball of the malice. Shoot an arrow on the eyeball to get rid of the malice that is blocking the path. This will eliminate the malice on this path and other parts of the Labyrinth.
  13. After that, head back to the previous path, take the path on the left, take the next immediate left, take the next immediate right to the wall, take the path on the left to the wall, take the path on the left, take the next immediate right, and take the next immediate right. Then, head straight and take the path on the right near the wall, take the path on the left, take the next immediate right, take another immediate right, and take the next immediate path on the left. Next, continue on this path to the wall, take the path on the right, continue to the wall, take the path on the left, then take the immediate right.
  14. After that, continue on the path to the wall, take the path on the left, head straight to the wall, take the path on the right, then take another immediate right to a corridor inside and opening in the wall.
  15. Next, walk straight to the end of the corridor, and the path will be divided into two. Take the path on the left, head to the wall, take the path on the right, take the immediate left, then take the immediate right, head to the wall, take the path on the left, head to the wall, take the path on the right, take the immediate right, then take the immediate path on the left. Then, head straight to the wall, take the path on the left, take the immediate right, another immediate right, then you will see a part of the wall with a couple of torches and a ladder.
  16. Let Link climb up the ladder, continue on the path, head up the flight of stairs on the left, and head straight on the platform. Then, at the edge of the forum, you will see that Link is actually on top of the Qaza Tokki Shrine!
  17. Finally, drop down, and Link can now access the Qaza Tokki Shrine!

Now that you have completed the Trial on the Cliff Shrine Quest, you can enter the Qaza Tokki Shrine. This shrine will no longer have a challenge or puzzle inside as the puzzle was already on trying to access the shrine. Upon entering the shrine, this is what Link must do:

  1. Upon entering the Qaza Tokki Shrine, head up the stairs and open the chest to obtain a Barbarian Leg Wraps.
  2. Then, just after the chest, continue ahead to the altar, talk to the monk, and claim your Spirit Orb!

After completing and exiting the Qaza Tokki Shrine, look up on the ceiling, and you will see a hole just above a platform (the platform just across from the platform that Link dropped down from). Fortunately, Link can climb up on any surface. Climb up the walls and go to the platform, then from the platform, climb up towards the hole. After that, Link will be in a big room with three chests! Open the chests to obtain a Topaz, a Ruby, and a Sapphire!

As mentioned above, the Qaza Tokki Shrine or Qaza Tokki’s Blessing is one of 13 shrines in the Hebra Tower region. The other shrines are the Goma Asaagh Shrine or A Major Test of Strength, the Sha Gehma Shrine or the Shift and Lock, the Hia Miu Shrine or A Major Test of Strength, the Mozo Shenno Shrine or A Major Test of Strength, the Rin Oyaa Shrine or the Directing the Wind, the Shada Naw Shrine or the Red Giveaway, the To Quomo Shrine or Quomo’s Blessing, the Rok Uwog Shrine or the Power of Reach, the Lanno Kooh Shrine or Lanno Kooh’s Blessing, the Maka Rah Shrine or the Steady Thy Heart, the Dunba Taag Shrine or the Build and Release, and the Gee Ha’rah Shrine or the Tandem.
