One of the Shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the Sha Warvo Shrine or the Path of Hidden Winds. This Shrine requires Link to traverse the shrine by paragliding on the gusts of wind until Link reaches the altar. This shrine may seem confusing and intimidating, but this shrine is fairly easy to complete, and in this guide, you will learn how to complete the Sha Warvo Shrine, obtain the chest inside, and claim the Spirit Orb.
Link will be rewarded with Spirit Orbs for completing Shrines. The Spirit Orbs obtained can be exchanged for more Heart Containers or Stamina Vessels. As there are 120 Shrines all over Hyrule, Link can get 120 Spirit Orbs. You can decide whether you want Link to have more Hearts or Stamina.
Location
The Sha Warvo Shrine can be found beside the path of Dronoc’s Pass near the Flight Range northwest of the Rito Village (the shrine can be found southeast of Lake Kilsie or southwest of the Hebra South Summit and the Corvash Peak). The Sha Warvo Shrine is one of six shrines in the Tabantha Tower region.
Path of Hidden Winds
Upon entering the Sha Warvo Shrine, you will see that Link is on top of a floating platform, and just ahead of him is a narrow path with a fan on the end that blows a constant gust of wind upwards. Just ahead of that fan in the distance is another floating platform. To complete this shrine, this is what Link must do:
- Head straight towards the fan near the platform’s edge and stand on top.
- Next, press the X button to jump. Then, while in midair, quickly press the X button again to use the paraglider.
- Let Link ride the gust of wind up until he is above the next floating platform ahead.
- Glide toward the next fan blowing upwards and let Link ride it up.
- Next, you will see a narrow floating platform with a chest and a Guardian Scout. Glide down and land on that platform and defeat the weak Guardian Scout. The Guardian Scout will drop some Ancient Screws or Gears after defeating it.
- Then, open the chest to obtain a Purple Rupee (50 Rupees).
- After that, face back on the gust of wind Link glided up previously, and you will see another narrow floating platform with another fan that blows upwards on top of it. Press the X button to jump, then quickly press the X button again to use the paraglider to glide towards the nearest gust of wind. Then, once Link is above the next floating platform, glide towards the updraft of the next fan and let it carry Link up.
- Next, in the direction of the shrine’s entrance, you will see a ladder with a moving platform at the bottom. Glide towards the ladder and climb to the top of it.
- On this floating platform, another fan blows a constant wind upwards. Stand on top of the fan, press the X button to jump, then quickly press the X button again to use the paraglider, and let Link ride the gust of wind up.
- After that, you will see a floating pillar with a gust of wind blowing out of the top. Glide down, head behind the floating pillar, and you will find an opening with another fan blowing a constant wind upwards.
- Use the paraglider to ride this gust of wind up, face the direction of the previous gust of wind, and there you will see a small floating platform with a chest on top. Glide towards the small platform and open the chest to obtain a Knight’s Bow.
- Next, press the X button to jump off the small platform, then quickly press the X button again to use the paraglider to glide towards the nearest gust of wind that is blowing upwards, ride it up, glide down again towards the opening at the back of the floating pillar, ride the gust of wind inside it up. Just ahead of the floating pillar, you will see another floating platform with the altar and the monk on top of it.
- Glide down the next floating platform, go near the altar, talk to the monk, and claim your Spirit Orb!
As mentioned above, the Sha Warvo Shrine is one of six shrines in the Tabantha Tower region. The other shrines are the Akh Va’quot Shrine or the Windmills, the Kah Okeo Shrine or the Wind Guide, the Tena Ko’sah Shrine, or the Path of Hidden Winds, the Bareeda Naag Shrine or the Cannon, and the Voo Lota Shrine or The Winding Route.
