We know that LEGO and Nintendo have teamed up for playable Super Mario kits before, but they’ve just unveiled their new kit showcasing Mario’s nemesis, Bowser.
Check out this huge kit, complete with mechanical head and firebreathing action:
We’re proud to present to you the newest addition to the growing LEGO Super Mario collection. Make some noise for LEGO Super Mario The Mighty Bowser!
This incredible build with 2,807 bricks is not only the biggest LEGO Super Mario set for adults, but it also has controllable movements of Bowser’s head, body and tail. And that’s not all! It can even shoot a fireball, and face off with LEGO Mario, LEGO Luigi or LEGO Peach from the LEGO Super Mario Starter Courses.
Like the description says, this is the largest LEGO Super Mario kit they’ve assembled, and though it doesn’t come with any elaborate obstacle courses, the build does have a lot of great details. Not only does the kit move like a puppet, but it also has a lot of great detail—especially when it comes to the rounded shell.
I’ll admit, the kit does look too large when compared to the other LEGO Mario pieces, but I guess that just opens the door for LEGO to release a smaller Bowser minifigure. Besides that, the kit still looks amazing, and I’m sure that it will look fine in any display, even if collectors don’t mind using its play features.
LEGO launches their Mighty Bowser kit this Oct. 1.
