GTA 5: How to get the Duke O'Death Armored Car

If you are one of those players who cannot seem to steer clear of trouble around Los Santos, you might as well be rolling around in an armored vehicle. After all, the Los Santos Police Department can be a persistent bunch, mainly once you breach the three-star wanted level in GTA 5.

Nevertheless, someone who likes to live life in GTA 5 as haphazardly as you do cannot roll around in just any armored vehicle, no. You will need one that perfectly represents your utter lack of respect for Los Santos law – You need the Duke O’Death Muscle Car.

Duke O’Death Muscle Car

The Duke O’Death looks like one of the two-door muscle cars found in GTA 5 – the Imponte Dukes. That is because Duke O’Death is the two-door armored version of that vehicle.

Compared to the Dukes, the Duke O’Death features improved acceleration and top speed, thanks to its supercharged V8 engine. The powerful engine helps make Duke O’Death one of the fastest armored vehicles in the game. However, Duke O’Death has poor braking performance because of the heavy armor plating, which can be remedied through a quick brake upgrade at Los Santos Customs.

As you can expect from an armored vehicle, Duke O’Death’s durability is top-notch, allowing it to ram incoming vehicles and withstand standard firearms easily. The Duke O’Death’s vehicle armor is strong enough to withstand three RPG shots and up to four homing missiles with ease, but a Sticky Bomb or a direct hit from a Rhino tank can instantly destroy the vehicle.

It is worth noting that the Duke O’Deaths windows are one of its only weak points, and a perfect shot at the Duke O’Danger driver through the window can instantly kill the driver.

Pulling Favors & Duel Random Event

Players who own the first release version of Grand Theft Auto 5 can get the Duke O’Death after completing the Pulling Favors side mission given to Franklin by Tonya. After which, the first Duke O’Death will spawn in a gas station just west of Los Santos Customs in the Grand Senora Desert.

The player can take Duke O’Death and drive away. However, a gang of rednecks will attack and chase the player in Phantoms and Dubstas. The player must escape alive or take out all the gang members to complete the event.

After completing the Duel Random Event, two Duke O’Deaths will spawn around the map. One can be found in a ruined shed at the southern end of El Burro Heights, and another next to an oil pumpjack in the Grand Senora Desert.

Duke O’Hazard

The Duke O’Death is a formidable armored vehicle in GTA 5 that boasts some of the fastest top speeds of any armored vehicle in the game. The armored vehicle’s armor is no slouch and can withstand considerable abuse from standard weapons and RPGs easily.
