Aloy may be a lone hero in the Horizon games, but she’s probably met her match with the new character Seyka from the DLC Burning Shores.
Just in, we have a new featurette delving into the character of Seyka, which features Horizon newcomer Kylie Liya Page and Aloy actress Ashly Burch. Watch this:
Here’s the official description:
Kylie Liya Page joins the cast of Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores as Seyka – an ambitious marine of the Quen tribe who has stepped up to help her people survive. With Ashly Burch, who reprises her role as Aloy, we go behind the scenes to learn more about this new companion before launch!
While Aloy is mostly just a wandering warrior in the franchise, Seyka is considered different because she belongs to a tribe when we meet her. Though Aloy has proven her mettle around other warriors in the game, Seyka is said to be someone who can stand toe-to-toe with Aloy; a nifty trait counting that she’ll be accompanying Aloy throughout the DLC.
We expect a new story with Aloy this time around. Though Forbidden West still managed to accommodate the specs of the old-gen PS4, Burning Shores are said to be fully embracing the capabilities of the PS5, so we should expect all kinds of bombastic visuals.
Coming to PlayStation®5 consoles on April 19, 2023. Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores sees Aloy pursue a sinister threat in the untamed wilds of Los Angeles, now a treacherous volcanic archipelago.
Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores launches on the PS5 on April 19.
