It’s almost February, and Guerrilla Games and PlayStation are building on the hype for the release of Horizon Forbidden West. Just in, we have a new featurette which introduces us to the cast of the game, including some familiar faces as well as some new characters.

Meet the Cast of Horizon Forbidden West

Watch this:

At the very center of the game is Aloy who is played by Ashly Birch, and while we know Aloy is the hero of the journey, she has to constantly butt heads with Sylens (Lance Reddick) who has his own agenda when it comes to the machines. Other returning characters include Varl (John MacMillan) and Erend (John Hopkins), and it looks like the two will be teaming up to help Aloy with her new mission in Forbidden West.

As for new faces, the game has Kotallo (Noshir Dalal) and Tilda (Carrie-Anne Moss). Kotallo looks to be Aloy’s in when it comes to this new tribe of adversaries, but Tilda is the character that seems to know a lot about the past; could she be some kind of recording, or is she a program that’s been left behind to assure the survival of humanity?

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see until the game releases to find out.

The land is dying. Vicious storms and an unstoppable blight ravage the scattered remnants of humanity, while fearsome new machines prowl their borders. Life on Earth is hurtling towards another extinction, and no one knows why.

It’s up to Aloy to uncover the secrets behind these threats and restore order and balance to the world. Along the way, she must reunite with old friends, forge alliances with warring new factions and unravel the legacy of the ancient past – all the while trying to stay one step ahead of a seemingly undefeatable new enemy.

Catch Horizon Forbidden Westwhen it becomes available for the PS5 on Feb. 18.
