Probably one of the biggest gaming disappointments of all time in the cancelled Star Wars: 1313, a game that would have followed Boba Fett’s origins and had players building his legend. Though it’s likely we won’t get a Boba Fett game now, some new footage of 1313 gives us an idea of how gameplay would have looked.
This comes courtesy of The Vault:
As per GamingBolt, the game was teased by LucasArts way back in E3 2012, but after the Star Wars acquisition by Disney, 1313—along with Star Wars Battlefront III—was effectively cancelled.
The premise fans can probably put together. The story would follow a young Boba Fett who tries to make a name for himself bounty hunting, and as the game progresses, he would get access to all his different armor upgrades and equipment—like his jetpack and the Slave I. You could even say this would have been the spiritual successor to 2002’s Star Wars: Bounty Hunter which followed the story of Jango Fett.
1313 may be cancelled, but hopefully Respawn Entertainment manages to come up with something based on The Mandalorian. If anything, they can just give Cal Kestis in the Fallen Order sequel a blaster and call it a day. Despite its praises, a lot of fans agree that there could have been more things added to the game, and hopefully this time the sequel manages to address all those concerns.
For now, you can catch Star Wars most infamous bounty hunter in The Book of Boba Fett now showing on Disney+.
