Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was so well-received that fans couldn’t wait for the sequel, but even if we haven’t gotten an official reveal yet, word is going around that the official title for the Fallen Order sequel has leaked.
According to Bespin Bulletin (as well as Grubbsnax), the official title for the Fallen Order sequel is Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. We don’t really have anything on plot details, but it essentially tracks with Cal Kestis’ journey, in that he’s survived the Jedi Purge, and now he’s survived his encounters with the Sith Inquisitors as well as Darth Vader.
The ending of Fallen Order essentially hints at Cal looking for other Force-sensitive kids. We don’t know what he eventually plans to do with those kids—whether to train them, or just hide them from the Inquisitors—but it would be great if we could get some crossover with other characters like Kanan Jarrus—heck, they can have the entire Ghost crew show up, and I’m sure there would be fans picking up the game that haven’t even tried Fallen Order.
Despite its praises, some criticism has been thrown at Fallen Order for being a pretty bland game—and a lot of its success can only be attributed to the fact that it’s set in the world of Star Wars. I’m hoping Survivor manages to give us some more interesting gameplay options—something more akin to Uncharted rather than Dark Souls.
No release date has been set for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, but you can check out Fallen Order now available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4|5, and PC.
