At the release of Once Human Way of the Winter update, they added more deviants to support the new game mechanics. Gazocchio is a new territory Deviant that produces lights that can be used to defeat Shadow. The light reveals their true form, making them vulnerable to attacks. When Gazocchio is deployed in your territory, they’ll attack and defend your base.
There are two ways to obtain the Gazocchio Deviant. The first method is to participate in a side quest, and the second method is through farming. Here’s everything you need to know about how to get Gazocchio Deviant in Once Human.

Get Gazocchio Deviant from Quest
To participate in the Gazocchio Quest in Once Human, head to Whalebone Settlement in Vena Fjord and talk to Lowe (-420, 5962). Lowe will ask you to investigate the Shadow Creatures found in the West Branch of the Wish Land Amusement Park.
Head to Wish Land
After accepting the Deviant: Gazocchio Quest, make your way to Wish Land- West at Onyx Thundra (3686, 4992).
- Enter Mr. Wish’s Octopus Cave.
- Chase after Gazocchio.
- Initiate a conversation and persuade the Gazocchio to join your team.
- After the dialogue, Gazocchio will be added to your inventory.

Farm Gazocchio by Defeating Shadows
Deviants like combat, territory, and crafting types can be obtained from farming or meeting certain conditions, including Gazocchio.
You can randomly obtain Gazocchio after defeating Shadows in Wish Land. To defeat Shadows effectively, lure them toward light sources like street lamps. Exposure to light reveals their true form, making them vulnerable to damage. Only then can you land attacks and eliminate the Shadows.
Keep in mind that while Shadows are shrouded with darkness, it will remain immune to any of your attack.
How to Use Gazocchio
Gazocchio is a Territory Deviant that patrols and defends your base from enemies. While the Deviant is inside the Isolated Securement Unit, it will produce a consumable Gazocchio item. Similar to the spotlight dropped by the Spotlight Head enemy, the Gazocchio item emits light that, when directed at a Shadow, reveals its true form.
To use the Gazocchio item, put it in your hotbar key, equip it, and then fire at the Shadow until it becomes vulnerable and reveals its true form.
