As the rarest resource in the game, Gold Ores are highly sought after, with many players selling them at premium prices due to their value. How to Get Gold Ore
Purchasing Gold Ores in Once Human is not worth it, especially with the current pricing in the market. The best way to obtain Gold Ore is by mining it yourself. Unfortunately, this rare ore can only be found in high-level areas with low spawn rates.
Throughout our exploration with over 200+ of Once Human gameplay, we only found Gold Nodes in Red Sands and on the border of the Blackheart Region. (Recommended Level: 43+)
Gold Nodes Location
Keep in mind that Gold nodes spawn in random locations, but they are typically found in the areas shown in the image above. Be sure to check these spots regularly:
- Near Evergreen – Red Stone (4574, -2383)
- Around Blackfell Oil Fields – Red Stone (5289, -1227)
- Around Blackeart’s Bay Teleportation Tower – Blackheart Region (6014, 469)
- Near White Cliff – Blackheart Region (4071, 1061)
Note: Teleporting to other Worlds may repawn more Gold Node Ores. It’s also recommended to use an Electric or Solar Drill with a Treasure Hunter bonus effect to enjoy a +100% mining yield for Gold Ores.
How to Craft Gold Ingot
The main use of Gold Ore is to craft it into Gold Ingot using an Electric Furnace. However, you need a Memetic Specialization called ‘Precise Metal Refining’ to unlock the formula for Gold Ingot.
These Gold Ingots are the main source of Energy Link. You can get Energy Links by selling Gold Ingots to certain NPCs.
Where to Sell Gold Ingots
Players can sell their Gold Ingots for 12,000 Energy Links each to NPC Vendors in every settlement across Nalcott. Each vendor has a weekly selling limit of 50,000 Energy Links, which replenishes after seven days.
With this limit, you can only sell up to 4 Gold Ingots (48,000 Energy Links) per vendor. Since there are 5 vendors available throughout Nalcott, players can earn up to 250,000 Energy Links per week.
