Outriders is fully out now, and it could be easily said that players’ expectations were met. The main reason that many were playing the demo even after finishing the short snippet of the story was to farm legendary and epic gear. During the demo, it was stated that all of the progress will be transferred to the full game, hence why so many farmed for legendaries.
However, if you’re a new player, or someone that didn’t grind the demo at all, no worries. There are ways to excel your gameplay, and the main one is by getting some epic gear.
Farm Epic Gear Fast – Outriders
Epic gear is the second strongest gear in Outriders. The best gear is of the legendary type, and it is really difficult to get legendary gear. However, on average, epic is really powerful as well, often with two mod slots, and it is worth to invest some resources into epic gear.
Now, the farm that we will show you today, will consist of replaying a story mission point, multiple times, collecting some chests, and then rinsing and repeating.
Here is the best way to farm Epic gear fast in Outriders:
- Go to the main menu in Outriders.
- For world tier, make sure you’re on the highest possible. This increases chances for getting epic gear.
- Then hit “Select Story Point”.
- Select Rift Town and then “Confront the Altered at the Tower” as the story point.
After that, go into the map, and follow the video guide to get all of the chests. After getting all of the chests, you can quit that lobby, and create the same game again.
Do this for a few hours, and you can expect to have quite a few epic gear already equipped.
At the moment, we don’t know whether legendary items have been added to chests again, but it is highly unlikely. The main reason to why they were removed, was mostly because of this farm.
Players quickly figured out that you can enter a mission, open, and loot a few chests, then repeat the process. So, as you would expect, many got some overpowered gear.
