A lot of fans were excited for the release of The Last of Us on PC, and with the success for the show, you can bet the hype is on for the game coming to a new platform. As it turns out, Naughty Dog has opted to delay the release.
As per an official announcement, the PC port for The Last of Us Part I is now set to come out on March 28. Here’s the post:
The statement reads, “We want to make sure that The Last of Us Part I PC debut is in the best shape possible. These additional few weeks will allow us to ensure this version of The Last of Us lives up to your, and our, standards.”
Some fans had also pointed out that by the time the game launches for PC, the final episode of The Last of Us Season One on HBO would have already aired (specifically on Sunday, March 12). We don’t know if the delay was made to time it with the series finale, but we do know that the series has been very well-received online, and it’s possible the hype will only go up by the time the game is made available for another platform.
The Last of Us Part I launches for PC on March 28. The game is currently available for PlayStation 4|5. You can catch new episodes of The Last of Us on HBO Max every Sunday night.
